The symbols on the tiles are not the Star of David, but the manufacturer's logo. The letters D and L on the sides of the star are the initials of the owners of the Dziewulski and Lange factory. The tiles were probably made in Opoczno.

It is not the Star of David on the tile. It is a makers mark from Dziewulski i Lange which is now the Opoczno tile company, Poland. That mark was at the bottom of the tile and would nto have been seen by those who walked on it.

Treblinka escapee Abraham Krzepicki gave his written testimony to Rachel Auerbach, during December 1942 and January 1943 and indicated the “the floor (of the gas chamber) was covered with small orange terra cotta tiles.” So this discovery corroborates and verifies his contemporaneous statement.
That is not a Star of David on the tile. It is the logo of the manufacturer, Dziewulski i Lange, a ceramics factory at Opocznie in Poland. The logo is on the underside of the tile and would not have been visible.

The composition and properties of diesel exhaust can be altered in some ways to make it more lethal based on the fuel that is used, how fuel and air intake is regulated (fuel to air ratio), and other factors. But mostly, there would be the following: carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, vanadium, particulate acids and particulate matter, black smoke, oxygen, aldehydes, and more.
Since one of the elements listed is oxygen you deniers actually have the temerity to propose that since oxygen is essential to human life there was no way this exhaust would have been lethal!? I can't even imagine the absolute absurdity of that! It's like asserting that since water is essential to life it is impossible to drown!

The terracotta tile excavated by Ivar Schute at the Treblinka camp, and wrongly identified by him, Colls and the Smithsonian as a “Star of David.”
The symbol is in fact a brand mark of the 125-year-old old Dziewulski i Lange porcelain factory in Poland.
Also the tiles are laid with the Emblem facing DOWN not up. This makes Colls’s claim that the symbol was there to “make people think they were going somewhere safe” complete nonsense.

The Smithsonian is a disgrace for keeping this up on it's channel. This is the logo of Dziewulski Lange, the makers of the tiles and was an imprint displayed on all their tiles.
Just last year, the National Museum of African American History and Culture (a taxpayer funded Smithsonian Institute museum) published on their blog that traits such as logical thinking, the nuclear family, cause and effect were signs of “whiteness” and must be resisted. Perhaps you should read the actual report that Dr. Sturdy-Colls submitted with the full list of artifacts that she found, the results of her ground penetrating radar analysis and Lidar analysis as well as a variety of her other findings.
The point was that this silly documentary was blatantly emotionally manipulative - as all such programs are. They are made to influence the hypnotized massed, glued to their television screens.
I don't care for emotion, I only want to see the facts, and the facts were that she presented nothing but a waste of time. Why should I read the report. I can read a report anywhere. The filming should have encapsulated all pertinent information. That would be the point of a documentary - not mood music, lighting and false emoting.

Tanya De Beer This video is less than five minutes long and it was an early and preliminary attempt to partially convey what was initially found at the Treblinka II site. Producers of every type of documentary know the importance of adding music to enliven the presentation and I suppose that presenting lists of all that was found would be rather boring. But it was the report that contained all of the findings and the reason you should read it is because you have tried to simplify the findings and reduce them down to what you claim was "a couple of bones, and a mass grave." Plus you completely ignored the fact that the Lidar found big structural stones as well as a brick wall and foundations of the gas chambers which were already known to be the only brick buildings in the entire camp. Accompanying the report, were a variety of well preserved samples of various artifacts which are also pictured along with the online version of the report. These artifacts, and other findings match up quite well with the testimonies that were given by not only survivors but Nazis themselves.
So through your intentional oversimplification, you have indeed distorted the facts and your purpose for this is quite obvious - to minimize, if not totally deny the enormity of what happened at Treblinka II and, by extension, the Holocaust as a whole. And your motivation to do so most commonly fits into two overlapping categories: 1) to try and assuage the guilt of Nazis and their descendents over their massive crimes against humanity and to minimize or completely whitewash these crimes 2) to try and portray all those who testified to their experiences during the Holocaust as liars - and the reasons for wanting to do this are quite clear in my mind. So perhaps you should take a good honest look at yourself and answer your own question about what your purpose might be.
I did find the original documentary before I commented. She declared what things were with no real evidence. Evidence of a building is not evidence of a gas chamber.
Wrong on both counts. I did have family lost in that war, so you have no idea what you are talking about. I said nothing to deny anything. I think shoddy investigating and assumed facts are an insult to the real victims. One fabrication or mistake only feeds dissenters. You're wrong about the documentary artistic license as well. Facts don't have to be dry, but I am immediately angry when someone tries to emotionally manipulate me. Like others of your ilk, you opportunistically seize on that mistake as your cute little way of denying the immense significance of what was found at Treblinka II. I do agree that one mistake only feeds dissenters and it sounds like that's exactly what happened with you. If we know, from eyewitness testimony, that the only brick buildings in the entire camp were those of the gas chambers then, quite logically, it stands to reason that if you find brick wall sections and foundations that you have found the buildings that housed the gas chambers.
Your minimization is one short step away from full denial and you completely fail to recognize or even address the preponderance of evidence that was found. And just because a documentary is not cut and dry and devoid of emotion does not mean it is being manipulative. I would find it rather callous to present these enormous crimes against humanity in a matter of fact manner.

The way this video describes this place, I can't see how there could have been any survivors at all, to tell anyone about the 5 steps and the star of David at the door of the gas chamber building. Also, the star on the tile they excavated is small, but the one over the door in the illustration is huge.
Some people have commented that the star on the tile is merely a manufacturer's logo. It seems to me that even if that's right, some prisoners might have thought it was a star of David. So if anyone were able to survive this place they might have reported seeing stars of David in various locations, even if that's not what it really was.
It was on the bottom of the tile, so it wasn't visible unless the floor was damaged. But.... 900,000 bodies buried, dug up months later, burned in the open, then the bones are crushed entirely into ash and reburied and planted over so ZERO evidence exists. That's the official narrative, I just read the entire Wikipedia page, I'm honestly finding it hard to believe...

You can clearly see the manufacturers mark is stamped on the underside of the tile (the side thats glued down). The other side of the tile has no markings on it as it's the visible side (they only put the manufacturers mark on the side that you can't see!)
In any case, none of what they show adds up to me! How do we know they didn't find this somewhere else and stick it in the dirt because they couldn't find much else to support the sale of the tv show?
We all know that documentaries are created for TV in the hope of generating $$$$$ for the creators, same with movies, and even the TV news! They all have to be "sold" to the public otherwise TV stations etc will go broke! I don't think anyone knows 100% exactly what took place at the camps, the Nazi's destroyed records, witness accounts vary, many people have "agendas" etc. Enough is known however, to form a pretty clear picture of the Nazi plan, at least for me.
