I truly inspired by your experience as a black man, professional, and nurse! The Most High has truly guided you in your journey. You have inspired me to being a nurse. I am in nursing school now. My story relates to yours because I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and they are not too many black man as a Social Worker/Psychotherapist! Continue to being you....continue being a strong black man...continue to inspire and lead others,...much respect to you brotha!!!
I resonated with this video so much. I too have been a nurse for 5 years... All ER and recently got fired from my job being 1. the youngest in the facility I was at and 2. Literal racism being one of a handful of black nurses in the department. Thank you for sharing your story. It's sad how we all can connect and have the same experiences but come from different parts of the country,
Junior nursing student from Philly here. You are such an inspiration! Thank you for your openness and for sharing your journey. Your growth is apparent and excites me to know that I’ll also grow as a person in this career, more than I can probably even imagine. Keep going! Sore higher and continue to shine brighter good brother!
Congratulations man, looking good. Great lecture. Been following you since I was a student. I emailed you last year and you got right back to me (and made a video in response to my email, which was awesome, felt heard!). Just want to say thanks. You're a real one. And, if I may add, I feel like NNU could use your talent. I know you're on the real estate tip, which I get... you deserve more money my man! Have you ever considered political organizing? Your voice is strong. You've got talent. Keep going. Thanks again. Shout out from Kansas City.
Thank for this brotha. I just got out of the navy about 2 years ago and jumped straight into school. I start nursing school here in a few semesters at Georgia State. Your voice is needed💯
I’m literally going through what you described as a black female new grad but thank you for showing me that through adversity comes better blessings. ❤
This was absolutely inspiring! I love your story. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Keep doing what you do. You've accomplished sooo much and there is so much more in store for your journey.
In all your vlogs your speech is eloquence combined with intelligence. You're making your mama proud young man. I began watching you to gain knowledge of nursing for my granddaughter who will be a senior in high school this September, who is excited to become a nurse herself. I'll tell her to refer to your vlogs for some knowledge, advice and support for her journey.
That’s amazing! I’ve been watching you for several years now and to see your growth is amazing. I’m also a nurse and live not too far from Hopkins actually. I just actually resigned from there. I would love to meet up and network if you have the time to do so!
#myexactstory I totally understand how you feel, it horrific. I am still trying so hard to overcome the hate I was showed in my first year of working as a nurse, it very traumatizing. I hope one day I'll get over it. Nursing is a beautiful profession that deserves people with good heart.
I have work with male nurses from all different racial background and all I can say I would almost rather work with male nurses than female nurses at times because male nurse are not Cady and ready to stab you in your back as bad as female nurses but don't get me wrong I do enjoy working with everybody male and female nurses there's an old saying that nurses eat their own and that is true
I admire how much you've transitioned over the years with nursing. Look at you now 💯
This has been hands down the best nursing channel to watch. Amazing evolution, professional development, and growth.
