NOTE: In the conversation Tahir Imran mistakenly said 100 hours, it is actually 200 hours for a CPL. And this is a very complex issue so we have tried to speak about it in more easy to understand general terms. Otherwise we could get very complicated and technical. Thanks.

Junaid bhai; thanks for arranging this chat. I'm myself an aviation technical professional with over 24 years experience and also A320 instructor. So let me correct some of the points that Mr. Tahir Imran has mentioned for your benefit and also for the benefit of your viewers.
ATC can never force the pilot to either land an aircraft or to go around. They only provide all required information and warn the pilots (with varying degree of urgency) but the decision is always with the pilots and that's why they are called as commander. The only exception is if the runway is not clear and there's some physical obstacle then they'd tell the pilot to go around.
Also they never interrupt or interfere the pilots during the landing or takeoff phase of the flight. So it is totally wrong to say that ATC Tower should've told the pilot that your engines hit the runway. Do you think they will have the time to make the decision to go around based on that info.
It is also wrong to assume that the pilots retracted the landing gears to reduce the drag because they wanted to make a go around. Actually the pilots selected the reverse thrust once they touch down on the runway (although the thrust reverser would never work since the landing gear has to be extended and compressed for it to deploy) but it shows that till that time they wanted to land and stop the aircraft. FYI the landing gears are only retracted as per the SOP during a "go around" once the aircraft does achieve positive rate of climb.
It was all blatant and continuous disregard of all SOPs by the pilots. The preliminary report is a standard step towards the final investigation report but his one is quite average. The report did not even specify which of the two pilots were actually flying the aircraft. Airbus don't say captain or first officer in their documentations anymore since either of the two seats could fly the airplane. So the term used is Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Non Flying (PNF). All checklist specifies the reponsibilities, checklist items and actions based on PF and PNF. So this was also missing in the report who was PF and who was PNF.
Crew rescource management (CRM) was also disregarded totally and has become a norm in our operating culture, unfortunately.
Also another thing that is missing in the discussion is the standard procedure and mandatory requirement of having a completely 'sterile flight deck' once the aircraft decends below 10,000 ft in the approach for landing. The crew are not allowed to have any discussion or exchange of information other than what is related to the landing profile and checklist. This was also totally disregarded.
Please do let me know if you may like to have any further information. I'd be glad to be in touch with you either on this forum or separately whatever you prefer.
      Thanks for your time.

Junaid Bhai, I'm an avid follower of yours from the US. I love the straight-edge approach to your narratives and have often recommended your channel to my friends. Recently, however, the number of ads on these videos has become excessive..to the point where I can barely enjoy them anymore (or even absorb the information you are trying to convey). I can only hear you speak for a few seconds before another ad shows up. Are you able to adjust this? :)

It wasnt the drag that brought the plane down . What this nuisance reporter isn't disclosing the LACK OF REPAIRS , engine faults and pilot incapability to fly due to poor theoretical and practical knowledge which actually brought the plane down. Salam would it be possible for you to send this podcast out in English ! I am asking for this because at present we the Pakistain people have become a laughing stock of the world 🌎 . Also as you have highlighted this is not the true story behind the story. Plus not all Pakistain pilots work for pia also aviation doesn’t just employ pilot 👨‍✈️. Employees can consist of engineering and a maltatude of other staff. Unfortunately everyone will be effected by this . This industry is suffering already so much . I don’t think 💭 the Pakistain government could have worded this statement in any other way then being honest . Unfortunately it has come during this trying time. . Thankyou for addressing this issue it has shed a new light 💡
