Wow Izabela! Amazing pot! Very unique creation, can't wait to see it with a tree (or trees!) In it!
thank you Christian! Yeah, it will be a cool challenge to plant something in this
fantastic! absolutely love it! 🐦💙
Thank you Jay! Your encouragement of my free creations really helped me to follow my intuition and make this pot 💙
Wow!!!
It's this dark granite clay, so fun to play Nigel!
New to pottery, so much gain watching this video
Oh, I'm so glad to hear that John, thank you for letting me know! All the best on your pottery journey, feel free to reach out with any questions you have
Fantastic pot Izabela, I really have a high level of appreciation for this pot as i make bonsai pots from natural stone. I spend alot of time searching, inspecting and visualizing the stones as finished pots before spending hours hollowing with a grinder and diamond drilling drainage holes and grooves. My passion for the natural look is deep and i wanted to express how much i like you creativity and finished pot.
Scott the stone pots you're making sound awesome, to find interesting rocks and put them together- what patience you have for your vision
Wonderful!!!! Thank you for the inspiration!
You're very welcome, enjoy your creations
I think, Izabela, that you are the Grand Master of the pottery world. One cool pot.
Glad you like the pot Tom! Thank you
Great stuff, I do like unusual!
Thank you Ron!
Very interesting pot and the well described thinking for all the steps. Your voice is also an asset as I appreciate the low key but still entertaining tone (if that makes sense) , Cheers from Sweden
Thank you Tybold, I'm glad you've enjoyed my voice and the pot making
Very good content. You deserve a much larger following. I'm going to watch this a dozen times, because my first couple of attempts at a pot like this were quite mediocre.
That's sweet to hear, I hope it can inspire you to have fun with it. We can be quite harsh judges of our creations, maybe for you they are "mediocre" but for someone else they are great? If there's anything you'd like to see or hear here on my channel, let me know! It's fulfilling for me to inspire others
I love not having rules!!!
Just like science and many other things in life, experimenting is how new discoveries are made.
Have you decided weather to glaze your new creation?
I haven't decided but most likely unglazed, perhaps a stain or oxide, we'll see once it's bisqued!
spirit pot
Very nice, I need to try that, it looks fun. How did it look after the glazing?
Give it a try if it calls to you, I'd love to hear how it turned out. I haven't glazed it yet, I've been away from the studio since making it but will post an update when it's ready, thank you!
Amazing Izabela! Another beautiful pot! How do you plan to glaze it? Or are you going to leave it unglazed?
Thank you Stefano! I'm thinking of leaving it as is, it is made out of that dark granite clay that will look like a rock after firing. Maybe I'll add an oxide or stain? Not sure yet!
