    Hey, nice demo. I have a question, are there any kind of bearings? Like ballbearings? In the pack? Cause yeah it looks really strong but without bearings moving parts would wear, and I'd like to build something that will last 🙂

    I’m looking to buy one for my son but it’s already been assembled and they don’t have the box. Was every part used in making this robotic arm from the box or was there parts left over for the other robots you can make?

      With 8 ports that's plenty for navagation like a vac-bot (vacuum-bot) or a mower-bot so really it's a question of memory and programming limitations. My guess would be yes but don't expect great results.

    V1, which i have. you have to assemble the claw. and the tracks, and it much more tedious than this one. i just want to know does it work more reliably. cause the V1 version is a PAIN IN THE ASS!

      I say go with the Jimu Robot series by UBTECH, the inventor kit is probably the best and most value for money

      The Jimu Robot Astrobot does more than this Makeblock kit and has multicolor lights and IR sensor to see with plus it can make sounds. It is like a super LEGO robot system able to control many more servos than LEGO ever has. It comes with 6 servos and can use 16 servos at once if you add servos. Can be found on ebay for $200.

      @Deadpoppin But first you have to add raspberry pi and do some serious re-coding.
      then your phone can live feed it, and you have yourself a cookie snatcher.
      Yes they say it's compatible with raspberry pie, you add it on top and do some welding.

    • @thatguynamedgeorge9218
      @thatguynamedgeorge9218 Před 3 lety

      @Deadpoppin lol but if you wanted to remotely control it, and what i mean by that is being in different room, then you would have to get one that livestreams to your phone, plus control the robot with radio signals or wifi cause bluetooth can only go so far.
      But still tho bluetooth can go through walls so i guess a live stream go-pro strapped on would work
