. Persian legendary Rock & Pop, Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Pianist and Icon. Singer: Farhad Mehrad The Black Cats band, 1960's #farhadmehrad #7roomsofgloom
I just discovered Farhad. Fantastic vocalist. Brilliant cover. This video, for its time, is so much better than most of what was seen, in terms of staging, pacing, etc. However, too much time was spent with Farhad in profile. The viewer misses to much of his performance seeing him mostly from that angle. Still, very good stuff.
Lyrics: I see a house, a house of stone A lonely house, 'cos now you're gone Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom I live with emptiness, without your tenderness You took the dream I had for us And turned that dream into dust I watch a phone that never rings I watch a door that never rings I need you back into my life And turn this darkness into light I'm all alone in this house Turn this house into a home I need your touch to comfort me I need your tender tender arms that once held me Without your love, your love inside This room is just a place to run and hide Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom Rooms of emptiness, without your tenderness Don't make me leave from day to day I've known a lot of some things Another day, another way Another reason for me to say I'm all alone, in this house That's is house, it's not a home Come here, here with me Don't you leave, you mustn't leave I miss your love that once I had known I miss your kiss, that was my very own Empty silence surrounds me Lonely walls, they stare at me Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom I live with emptiness, without your tenderness Don't make me leave from day to day I'll always leave us a way I've been waiting Waiting for you so mad I miss your love I once have known I miss your kiss that was my very very own Empty silence surrounds me Lonely walls, they stare at me Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom I live with emptiness, without your tenderness All the wall, I waited bad I've been waiting let see you come back I've been waiting, waiting for you so bad Everybody (emm) One more time (emm) Come on, follow me now (emm)
You're so wrong. The original, by The Four Tops, was a darkly intense song (perhaps, the best song written by Holland-Dozier-Holland for the group), and brilliantly performed by the Tops. However, this version abandons the "Motown Sound," and replaces it with a more stripped down, rock sound, accompanied by an intense and impassioned vocal. Farhad recorded songs from a variety genres, and did so, very well. Check out some of his other recordings from his relatively short career, and, hopefully, you'll hear the great vocalist that we hear.
This was recorded 55 years ago in Iran, simply amazing.
It can't be 55 years ago because the orginal audio came in 1967,53 years ago
@@mnfd840so. You can count to 53 only😂. Change your school

Lyrics:
I see a house, a house of stone
A lonely house, 'cos now you're gone
Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom
I live with emptiness, without your tenderness
You took the dream I had for us
And turned that dream into dust
I watch a phone that never rings
I watch a door that never rings
I need you back into my life
And turn this darkness into light
I'm all alone in this house
Turn this house into a home
I need your touch to comfort me
I need your tender tender arms that once held me
Without your love, your love inside
This room is just a place to run and hide
Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom
Rooms of emptiness, without your tenderness
Don't make me leave from day to day
I've known a lot of some things
Another day, another way
Another reason for me to say
I'm all alone, in this house
That's is house, it's not a home
Come here, here with me
Don't you leave, you mustn't leave
I miss your love that once I had known
I miss your kiss, that was my very own
Empty silence surrounds me
Lonely walls, they stare at me
Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom
I live with emptiness, without your tenderness
Don't make me leave from day to day
I'll always leave us a way
I've been waiting
Waiting for you so mad
I miss your love I once have known
I miss your kiss that was my very very own
Empty silence surrounds me
Lonely walls, they stare at me
Seven rooms, that's all it is, seven rooms of gloom
I live with emptiness, without your tenderness
All the wall, I waited bad
I've been waiting let see you come back
I've been waiting, waiting for you so bad
Everybody (emm)
One more time (emm)
Come on, follow me now (emm)

i like this version. but the video is awkward. old school music videos ha?
Late 60s I believe this video was made
Iranian people were very new to camera , you know what i mean ?
We were riding horses and wielding sword at 19th century
@machomanoncoc9185 a bunch of 60s bands music videos are exactly the same with the akward dances and ish .
LOL!
So Proud
So that's not attractive for Persians children because they are run away from English.
Embarrassing
@M he's talking about our government buddy
Wow, this is terrible..
You have no taste.
Why be such a hater this version is an absolute GEM
