Nanno hardly killed anyone. She left them to suffer the consequences of their wrongdoings. Which I believe is a better punishment than simply killing them off.

Some says Nanno was almost become mortal and died but somehow revive again. I have different opinion. Yuri think that she outsmarted Nanno, but Nanno is just trying to fool Yuri that she has won. Nanno can fake anything, including a wound.
Episode 8 is the best for me.... A unique Nanno which is different from the rest of the episodes...

She's an angel of karma. This series reminded me of Hell Girl, it's an anime. In that series, when someone wants to get revenge, Hell girl gives them a deal and they get a tattoo/seal.When the deed is done, their soul is bound to be in hell in return. It's pretty ironic how can a person give up their soul to get revenge on people who did them wrong. I feel sorry for the victims and angry at the same time coz this situations happens in real life.The endings are always satisfying but sad. Sometimes getting justice is unfair.

Fun fact: Like all Thai names, Chicha Amatyakul's (Nanno) last name is in Sanskrit. It means " Minister/ Councelor's lineage" or simply, some of her ancestors would have been counsellors in the court to the King of Thailand. (Amataya= councellor, kul= lineage/clan/caste)
Edit: For people asking what is Sanskrit, it is an ancient language from India(no one knows how old). Pali is a form of spoken Sanskrit, spoken by the common folk and the Buddha preached in Pali.

@sawako lucia India, yeah. Sanskrit went to Sri Lanka from India with Buddhism. Since Buddhism is from India, the texts are in Sanskrit and so all Asian countries(except probably Vietnam) that are east of India have some Sanskrit in their language and culture. Thailand has way more than others since it has been a Buddhist-hindu kingdom for 1500+ years(30% of Thai language is sanskrit words, their writing system was modelled after the sanskrit system hundreds of years ago) and yeah, most people's names are in Sanskrit (mind you, sanskrit isn't spoken in India except probably in reciting mantras/prayers, etc.)
@sawako lucia although my sanskrit isn't good, her name was easy to translate since kul is a sort of common word for lineage and I had heard amatya in a historical drama
@sawako lucia I guess you might be a Filipino since this is the Netflix Phillipines channel. A couple sanskrit words in languages of the Phillipines that I know of are Mukha, dukha, rajah and guro(guru in sanskrit). There are others too but I remember only these.

nanno doesn't laugh as much in s2, though. And I feel like her character shifted a bit compared to s1. I feel like in s1 she doesn't take sides, but she does in s2. she feels more like an entity from hell who plays with human's life, just for fun, in s1. but in s2, she does that to "punish", like it is her reason of existance .
imo that's probably because of Yuri's meddling. Nanno's mission was always to make people live with the consequences of their actions. But Yuri started meddling to punish them without them actually learning anything so Nanno had to shift her methods to the more extreme.

but there’s a popular theory that s2 takes place before s1 as in s2 Nanno seems more manipulative and ruthless (although some of it is because Yuri kept interfering) and questions her methods as seen in the JennyX episode

The director likely tells Kitty what to do etc but Kitty has to bring it to life, to flesh it out and she does an amazing job. I seriously doubt Nanno would be anything without Kitty's acting and what she brings to the role.

Her character is based on Junji Ito's Tomie. They even look similar. Unlike Tomie who is an undying succubus that manipulates her victims' mind to kill her, Nanno is benevolent chaotic neutral character that actually helps people and punish the bad ones.
