They'll probably all be mass produced in the same factory for multiple supermarket chains mate... But they'll have slight differences depending on the supermarkets own requirements... Like the two you tried today Gaz... The Baked Beans... Hash Browns... Omelette... Will all be identical and standard ingredients for most supermarkets chains... Then tweaked to their own needs like different Sausages or adding Bacon... Or maybe even adding a slice of Black Pudding... The cost to product weight ratio is almost identical too... Iceland All Day Breakfast cost £1.79 for 400g = 2.2g per penny... Asda All Day Breakfast cost £1.50 for 350g = 2.3g per penny... But i have to say mate... I would take the Asda All Day Breakfast every time... It had both Bacon and Sausage that had some taste to them... Where as the Sausages in the Iceland version were pretty tasteless... Everything else was identical... So Asda wins hands down... Thanks for the review Gaz... Cheers mate.🍺
having worked in production factories yes they are produced in the same factory different lines and yes it's about what each company wants so cheaper means less of something and here we see 2 sausages v 1 sausage plus a splat of bacon so there's the saving
Speaking of Asda, I must recommend extra special Lincolnshire sausages. They are a bit pricey, but the offer is 2 for £4 definitely worth it. DELICIOUS 👌
Loved the vid for your presentation 👌 just so real life when we have mishaps it's so warm hearted ❤ to see you have them too ! Content was a joke but great you outlined these products Thanks 😊 Lyndax
I've had the ASDA version quite a few times, I always bung in an extra hash brown, and make some hot buttered toast to go with it. It's so easy to overcook (in the micro) the omelette, however. The baked beans are nice, nearly mushy pea-like in texture.

Hi Gareth (I’m sorry I missed the first 5 mins of your audio because I was laughing so much 🤪) BUT yeah brilliantly brought back 😂 If I ever have need to buy one of those, I’d go for Asda. Just because it has bacon 🥓 even though it looked rather sorry for itself, as did the sausage 😂 Anyway thanks for the breakfast off 🤦♀️🤦♀️ Take care and stay safe 😘 xxx
Love watching your comparisons, noticed sodium nitrate preservative on the ingredients, I try to keep clear of it as it's linked to men's bowel cancer.
Bacon is an absolute must on my breakfast table. Great video, I am a late comer because I only discovered this excellent channel last week. I hope Richard Walker, MD of Iceland, who gets on BBC Question Time sees this episode. Get some bacon in your product!
Great video Gaz. You've made me fancy an all day breakfast now lol. I definitely agree the Asda breakfast does look better with the bacon and the only 1, but tastier sausage. Keep up the great video's Gaz 👍

My favourite meal, an all day brekkie! 😋 I’ve never had much luck with frozen ones though… mind you I’m not great at cooking my own lol… best having one cooked for you 😁😁 interesting review as always. X😘
Lunchtime: Breakfast is ready.. A bit fiddly and time consuming for what you get. I'd opt for the ASDA, just to have a better tasting sausage and bacon. Those trays are so thin now they break in transit even before they reach the supermarket. I've had 2 so far. I took photos and sent them to the customer service along with a letter of concern. The plastic becomes brittle at freezing temperature and cannot withstand an impact unlike the previous trays that are very robust. Saturdays are my go to ADB's, time to actually enjoy it. Another great review today Gareth. Cheers 😀🤤👍🇦🇺
Top review bud 👍 I had Tesco's new frozen Southern Fried Chicken Thigh Fillet Burgers for tea. Absolutely fantastic with a slice of cheese, tomato and lettuce 👌🍔
I bought an ASDA mini pizza the other day, cheese and ham and cooked it in the air fryer 170 for 5/6 mins, preheated. Turned out really well for £00.48p if you wanted to do an airfryer pizza review. My air fryer is the small 3.5L I used a fork to remove it and it held together well..... 'ASDA Cheese & Ham Snack Pizza 114g'
Asda cafe do a nice all day breakfast. It's often half price too. I think I paid £3 for sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried eggs, fried bread and hash brown. I don't think Id ever pay £6 though. Was really nice though had it to take out and ate it in the van. Much more satisfying than the sandwich I was going to get.
For £15 in Tesco you can buy the ingredients for 6 full English breakfasts which would consist of bacon, chipolata, eggs, mushroom, tomato, hash browns, beans and toast. That comes out at £2.50 per meal, the same as the Iceland breakfast, which, let's be honest, is garbage. If you do not want such a gut busting meal, and it is big, you could use have one sausage and one slice of bacon and half a tomato and half a mushroom (the big ones) and still have a nice breakfast for 12 days at £1.25 a meal. I have these as dinners so I go larger but have also had the smaller variety. Also, I now freeze portions of sausage and bacon so I do not have to have it all right away over a few days.
@@BaldFoodieGuy You're welcome. I reckon you could make videos about that, comparing ready meals to fresh cooked meals to see which work out better for price and quality etc. I know I would watch it :)
I prefer to cook my own, doesn't take very long, but as you say these frozen ones are just for convenience, i bet they wouldn't taste as good if done in the microwave though.

Hi Gareth.Me and a mate used to always have the Big Daddy Breakfast in Morrisons Cafe before we'd go fishing for the day.Absolute best Breakfast ever.See you Friday for the Live
Yes! Remember that Morrison's Big Daddy breakfast as if it were yesterday! And I've been living in Madrid since 2020. Only one other Full English comes to mind and that was an amazing one in a classic transport caff in South Harrow in the 80s and 90s. I even used to have 2 of these a week, they were that good! Made one for my Spanish lot recently and even included black pudding (which they do well here). I loved it, but it got a massive thumbs down! :o( It's what you're used to I suppose!
Microwave bacon in 2 mins, do same for baked beans in 1 min, and cook omelette on the hob in a frying pan in 3/4 mins. For the sausage, buy frikadellen (pre cooked sausage meat patties) from Lidl (5 patties for about £2) and microwave 1 or 2 for 30 secs each side, and there's your all day breakfast (without Yanky yucky hashbrowns),
If you had to leave home early for work during the winter I don't think the Asda one is too bad. Pad them out with a couple of slices of buttered toast and eat them out of the tray so no washing up or cooking utensils. Then it doesn't seem a bad proposition.
I've got some 'special ' lager in for tomorrow night live, and a nice bottle of red. Like to do my own all day brekkie from scratch as do not like the packaged ones.

They looked ok for what you pay I have had them and the Tesco one at work on nights they do a job cheap snack rather go to a greasy spoon cafe for an all-day breakfast
@4:40 You coulda swapped the contents over while it was frozen i.e put the beans in the omelette section and vice-versa as theyre symetrical compartments elliminating the leak i think ?
Let's be honest and realize that the schools should be teaching the basics in cooking, which includes making a decent breakfast, and also understanding that it's a treat and not a daily habit. I do find Mr Bald Guy reviews interesting, but these days we are all making excuses for people not being able to cook. Fair play… never ceases to amaze me the shite you try out! You’ll need pulling through with a Christmas tree soon! 😂

Generally 'sausages' in prepared meals very often have seldom if any resemblance to a proper sausages

@4:40 You coulda swapped the contents over while it was frozen i.e put the beans in the omelette section and vice-versa as theyre symetrical compartments elliminating the leak i think ?
Don't think I'll be trying these.🤣🤣
Where did you get those plates from mate?

Let's be honest and realize that the schools should be teaching the basics in cooking, which includes making a decent breakfast, and also understanding that it's a treat and not a daily habit. I do find Mr Bald Guy reviews interesting, but these days we are all making excuses for people not being able to cook. My Mother passed down her knowledge to me which had also been passed down to her from my Gran.
