Whilst this match should’ve gone longer, it’s still surreal to see Suzuki on TNT.
Moxley/Suzuki was a fantastic wrestling contest, but didn't receive enough time. I feel like in a NJPW ring, Suzuki would've kicked out of Moxley's finisher at least 3 times before defeat.

Moxley's Paradigm Shift looked more like a butterfly suplex, I liked the match but I think it could have been even better since I've watched their match at NJPW.
He’s been doing that lately, and it’s a shame. The death rider/elevated paradigm shift is the best finisher in the game, but he started making it more like a brain buster rather than a ddt. It’s harder to make it look good and also safe. The ddt variant looks better and is safer. He needs to go back to that.

AEW rode the momentum from all out in Cincinnati and crushed it!!! The Moxley clash with one of the most lethal strikers in new Japan pro wrestling was HARD hitting and delivered
should have save this for a PPV, make it at least 20 minutes, and a full Kaze Ni Nare moment to actually feels the forbidden doors kicked in the arena. feel rushed, Mox doesnt even did the final Paradigm Shift right.

Cutting his theme and only giving them 10 mins was a bummer. Feel like that happens somewhat often with main events. One of my few gripes with AEW is the time management of the show.

@@lamardasuperstar8575 eh Idk, I’d make Rampage 2 hours before I make Dynamite 3. I just think, more than anything, that they need to do a better job timing the segments and sticking to those timings. Imo the Black vs Rhodes match was much longer than it needed to be and a few other segments as well.
Luckily Suzuki’s gonna be back on the 15th and that’s why AEW is great. They acknowledge the screw ups and make things right.

They packed so much on this show. Wish it could have gone longer, but they tried to put a lot of eyes on the talent that doesn’t get air time as often. I feel like they did a pretty good job on what they tried to accomplish. Still wish it was longer, but not mad at all.

All of those brutal strikes and the match ends with a glorified double undertook suplex. Mox needed to pick him up and plant him again.
I was kinda angry it ended like that as well, but looking at replay that last blow before the final blow it looked like he legit smoked him in the temple by mistake, maybe concussed and didn't want to risk breaking his neck possibly. Solid short match, not great finish.

Not due to being busted, but because there's only 10 minutes of TV time left.. If you discount the entrance which was already cut short (Minoru Suzuki's entrance got cut), the actual match, as in from bell to bell only took 6-7 minutes... The match ended around 9:58PM ET (2 mins left before the end).. The bigger question is, how come there's only 10 minutes left?? Was it because there were too many segments or was it because some segments took longer than it should have? We won't know til tomorrow... Would love to see this match again with longer TV or PPV time..

Look, I liked the match overall, and it may seem like I'm just hating on aew and Jon, but he's my favourite here. But he NEEDS to perfect that paradigm shift, it's better if he executed the move without lifting the opponent and the one he executed at first didn't look impactful. I hope he either improves the execution of the move or adapts a new finisher

I saw the blood on Suzuki's eye in the first thing that came to mind was the fact that it's just a regular day at the office for him. There aren't enough $2 steaks to match his toughness.
