I’m an American who just stumbled across the Kelly family by accident, and was surprised how much I like the music.
There’s really strong song writing, and emotion in their music.
Really surprised there’s not a big following here in the states.

I stumbled upon them on Twitter back in 2018 from their song and hilarious live version of "Pee Pee" but I did not listen to any of their other songs and didn't even realize that they were a real band. I kind of forgot about that and properly had my introduction to their songs in early 2022, about 7 or so months after the death of their sister Barby. Apparently, they tried to break through in the US in the 90's and produced an infomercial to promote their album Almost Heaven to Americans so some people did hear about them back then. I am still trying to track down that infomercial to this day.

heh napisałem na górze po angielsku, tutaj odpowiem po polsku ;) Na początku lat 90 kończyłem akademię muzyczną 1 stopnia na wydziale gitar akustycznych we Wrocławiu, chwilę później poznałem moją przyszłą żonę a dokładnie miesiąc po pierwszym odsłuchu tego utworu urodził się mój syn Grzesiek. W 1995 roku założyłem swój zespół i gramy do dzisiaj (odrazu powiem że diametralnie mocniejszą muzykę niż ta) aczkolwiek ostatnio nasza wokalistka Agnieszka zaproponowała nam abyśmy spróbowali zagrać ten utwór na koncercie. Ok pewne partie damy radę; refreny, zwrotka, bridge, ale partii młodego Angelo nie da rady nikt zaśpiewać i tutaj taka anegdota z próby, nasz gitarzysta Bronek napompował się helem, o czym nie wiedzieliśmy i spróbował to zaśpiewać, sam Bartek wyobraż sobie jak blisko 60 letni chłop z potężnym barytonem w gardle zabrzmiał pod wpływem helu ;) Tak czy owak mimo iż gram ciężki rock to ten utwór jest był i zapewne do końca moich dni pozostanie na specjalnym miejscu w moim serduchu.
