- Francis Bacon and the Masters at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts looks at the artistic influences of one of our most visceral and engaging modern painters to expose exciting parallels between Bacon’s unflinching artistic outlook and the work of some of art’s great practitioners; Van Gogh, Rembrandt and Velázquez to name a few. Sarfraz Manzoor goes behind-the-scenes as the exhibition is hung to bring you the five key areas of interest.

Who the heck is "Van Goff"? LOL
That's how we say his name in Britain
@@outtour2525 Ah, alright.
Bacon also lived through the first world War
Yes but he wasn’t in London during the first. During the second he worked as an emergency medic in London and saw a lot of people torn apart as a result of bombings.
Not bacon.
4:06 Many would observe that homosexuality is still dangerous ...
He was a master of degenerate art.
realy good
@Juan Perez Since when did "degenerate" become a phrase exclusive to Nazis? WTF?
What kind of school of thought were you indoctrinated into? Anything can be degenerate, nazism especially.
It doesn't take a genius to understand that most of his artwork looks like it came out of a nightmare.
@Juan Perez 👏👏👏👍👍!!!
