Behind every blockbuster is literally hundreds of people that did their job in order to make the film work, yet most won’t get near a credit screen. Thank you all for your hard work . Loved the film for the fact that it was first one that showed she broke up, a fact That many survivors from the “lower” classes stated but were dismissed as “apparently” the higher class survivors dismissed the claims. If I’m wrong in that fact then I apologise, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it were true.
It’s incorrect, yes. The night was pitch black after the ship’s lights went out, so those who didn’t report a breakup simply didn’t see the ship’s movements or interpret the sounds as such.
I remember seeing Titanic in the theatre 6 or 7 times when I was in high school. It was unreal. The first time, the entire theatre was in tears. It was so epic, and so incredible. What an awesome piece of film history.
Same here, I saw it with my best friend several times. We were obsessed with it, we both got Titanic posters of Leo and Kate lol.

0:54 plot twist!
I was a child of maybe seven or eight years old when Titanic came out. It was the weekend I had had a good week at school, both my mom and my dad were working late night shifts this time so I got to spend a couple nights at my grandma's house. She had a coupon to get Titanic half off at the local movie gallery (movie stores were still a thing back then), I was curious so I said "okay let's get the movie". So we got it and I spent that evening snuggled up in my grandmother's lap sharing a big bowl of popcorn. I instantly fell in love with the movie. I would watch it every time I came over. Sadly November 2013 my grandma would pass away. But to this day every time I watch the movie it brings me back to that special memory.
What a beautiful memory 🥹

I saw this movie on the big screen in 1997 and again just two days ago at the cinema in 3D. Wow! I remember how impressed I was with how it looked back then, but in 3D you are RIGHT THERE . . . when Rose was looking down at the water from outside the ship before Jack came to rescue her, when the ship hit the iceberg, when the water came crashing down the hallways submerging the man holding the boy while Jack and Rose tried to run from it, when they were poised at the edge of the ship waiting for it to be sucked down, you were right there experiencing it all. The only difference was that you didn't get wet or feel the cold. See it in 3D if you can.

The “J Dawson” grave they show was the grave of Irish-born Joseph Dawson, who worked as a trimmer on the Titanic, meaning that he moved coal for the firemen. He was 19 when he died of hypothermia, and his body was recovered by the ship CS Macky-Bennett.
Love how James Cameron brought this young man into the film by way of his name. He probably would have been called Jack too. Love how he told the story of third-ckass travellers. Titanic is a masterpiece and the end result did justice to every person who worked on the film and the lng-gone people who died in the tragedy.

It’s relaxed sets like that, that create great movies. I’ve never understood these directors, who make things difficult for the cast and crew. When it’s very obvious that when the cast is having fun, you get the best out of them on film. This is proof perfect of a production that hired thousands to create one of the best pictures ever made. Everyone of them looks like they’re having the time of their life. Wish I could’ve been there and experienced that. Because it just looks like it was a blast.

@@orange300-ct8fcWtf he has to show them how to act. It’s normal to do it. Not everything is sexual!
@@orange300-ct8fc It's a one second clip! And he's the director, directors do have to sometimes touch the actors, show them the exact position where to stand, or to show another actor how they should touch someone, have you ever been on a film or TV show set? I have as an onlooker and there's a lot of dull, mundane moments of the director touching the actors, moving them, holding them, etc..whatever the scene calls for. And absolutely nobody would say anything either if he was a black man, what does that even have to do with anything? You have no idea if Kate Winslet was uncomfortable, she's a professional doing her job, so I doubt she minded.
