On a hike| Mount Cannibal: Garfield, Victoria (Australia)
What a special day this was. My grandson had wanted to do this hike for some time and now was the opportunity there to combine it with my visit to the family in Australia. Mount Cannibal in Garfield North. Victoria, Australia. Wow, what a hike. Or should I say climb. Stunning, breathtaking, huffing and puffing and so worth it. The temperature was a challenge too- bit warm for me and the energy I needed to do the hike. But hey, fit and healthy and not complaining- except that there were no gates. Max, my grandson and I, had an amazing experience hiking here. So great to have shared that with him. Lovely memory. We enjoyed the hike with you and your grandson Max, Anita. I remember some of the fires a few years back down there. Tragic for the many people affected. But, it's natures way of rebirth. Good morning from a sunny and blue sky Napier. I've had some wonderful temperatures which I am finding totall pleasant and my hosts are finding chilly 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣! Everyone keeps complaining that winter is coming while I'm enjoying getting a tan and walking bare foot and with bare arms. Really makes me laugh. Loved my Bunnings hat. Worked like a charm. They were wondering why the giant redwoods in California were dying out. After all, they had put in measures to stop forest fires. Then they discovered that the trees only released their seeds after a forest fire had dried the trees out.
Hot heat and steep hills are not my cup of tea. I kept looking for a bench to sit on even though I'm not there. 😁😁
