    I don't get it? I understand you wrap it in foil but why not simply put it back in the smoker? It's on, the meat is wrapped and simply maintain the temp around 200. I can't see too much smoke if any penetrating through the foil. I would just place it back in the Vision. Other than that, it looks so incredibly appealing as you pull the meat apart. Thank you for the video.

      Well the reason would be to just completely stop babysitting the grill. Also you can shower the smoke smell off and get ready for a great dinner with family and friends.

    You can finish them in the oven at higher temps.

    What’s your advice for starting the charcoal? I have been having issues to keeping the coals burning and maintaining temps.

      Best thing for me is a charcoal chimney start about 6-8 pieces then dump them right in the middle after they are lit and turning white. I also use newspaper under the chimney.

    Great video! Did you let the pork rest after the cook in the oven? Or no need?

    Why did you put the water tray? The original amount of charcoal lasted you those 7.5 hours?

    • @Themeatcabinet
      @Themeatcabinet  Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Julio Lopez water tray is to keep moisture in the cooking atmosphere, and yes the charcoal lasted the whole 7.5 hours, it will normally last up to 16-18 hours.

    How’s it going man! I’ve watched your Vision Grill videos and I’m debating on buying on myself. How has it held up months later after purchasing it? How is the henge doing. Does the lid stay up or does it fall down on its own? Thanks for the help man!

      Jaime Briones thanks for watching my videos. New videos coming soon. The grill has been great everything holding up great. I’m thinking of buying another one so I can cook more food. I will start videos back up in 2 weeks. Meat has been very expensive in my area but I have a freezer full now. Thanks again for watching.
