I was Anti E Mountain Bike until I rode this Rocky Mountain Altitude at Brown County State Park at demo day last summer. I fought it. its a whole new approach to mountain biking . I love it. Also this Rocky Mountain Altitude won the climb test against all other major brands on GBMB channel. I still ride my Ibis Ripmo weekly though .

Great video! Are you using the factory profile or a custom one?

Thanks for watching! I'm using a custom setup but... I may switch back to the factory. I discuss my setup in this video

@@evelkestriegel Awesome! It's funny how the bike lays down its power. I ride mine with a custom tune too.. +2Boost, 35 eco 40% trail 1, 70% trail 2 and of course 100% Ludacris mode. Great motor! I love you can use Ludacris mode any time you feel you need it. Not like my old Focus with the Shimano E8000 motor were Boost mode would push you off a cliff do to the over run. Love my Rocky Mountain! I will say the paint chips pretty easy. I got some touch-up paint for that..

Where are you located at? Looks like some cool trails.

Louisville, Kentucky area. This was shot at Cherokee Park, about 11 or so miles of xc trails

The Louisville Kentucky and southern Indiana area is incredible for mountain biking. The trails on the video are in a Louisville city park and they are awesome but there are 3 other metro parks that also have great mountain bike trails you can get a ten plus mile workout in. Then right across the Ohio river in southern Indiana the trails get much much better and way more advanced. those are in Indiana state parks.

Nice! Defo stick on the rubber shuttle guards to protect the downtube.

Also as you probably know, you can change the Ride-4 chip to alter geo, bb height and suspension kinematics. Wheelbase can be lengthened by 10mm too!

      Will do!

Yeah I've thought about making it a little steeper steering and raising the BB. I get LOADS of pedal strikes

I'm hearing ya! Another option to consider is to throw on some shorter cranks too! I'd love to try that on the Powerplays, they do run super low bb but sooo good!! Stoked for ya man, keep the video coming! Subd

I’ve had mine since November 20th, seat post cable seized up, so I cut it, and ripped it out, so costs could be lower without that garbage. charge port cover ripped off cause it doesn’t stay in. Replacement parts are not redly available, and I’m still waiting after a month for the tiny piece of rubber, to replace My tape every time I charge. the front shocks squeak probably cause they are cheap garbage, everything has to be bought from the dealer, a battery replacement is dealer only, and is $1400 before tax, and it’s made in Taiwan, it’s not even a state of the art battery chemistry, i don’t even think it’s UL certified. so that’s absurd. Diagnostics are pay the dealer cause they don’t sell the cable or software. Maybe in the next 10 years a company. Will show up with a proprietary bike that the aftermarket world can support. Too many patents, and trade marks at the moment. But the bike sure is nice to ride. If you don’t have a broken knee, or are a geezer, I’d wait until prices drop on the replacement parts substantially, and aftermarket Chinese stuff starts showing up.
