2 Days and 3 Cities of Dumpster Diving!

- What a fun couple of days driving through Maine and dumpster diving along the way! This has been such a cool way to learn how different cities / stores manage their waste - it's so interesting and i'm happy to know that more places up here compost their food waste! I would still love to see it donated, but composting is a much better alternative to the landfill.

Hey, I've made yogurt for a good many years. The way you turn the milk and live yogurt culture into yummy yogurt, is done by placing the mixture in the oven or yogurt maker, set at warm/ lowest oven temp for several hours. Therefore, If the containers you find are still sealed and uncompromised, the yogurt/culture that is in them is all good and perfectly safe. Though you wouldn't donate the outdated ones, you can definitely eat it yourselves, no matter what the date. Just wash down the outside down before opening, for obvious reasons. ( : No worries and good for your digestion., which is very helpful while traveling.

Since I lived and worked in Portland and Scarborough Maine, it was fun to see again. The leaves were beautiful. Alex made me laugh out loud with his costume and pretending to be a wind person.

I saw the same thing at Marshall’s once, the saddest part was that a Mom let her 5/6 yo take shoes without paying and leaving the old ones on the floor in the shoe dept. What lesson did that little girl learn that day?
