I think the fundamental thing for building modern football is the facilities. I think the training facilities for the Indonesian league 1 are on par with the English vanarama league or perhaps on the par with the sky bet league 2. Apart from the facilities, the most crucial thing that has not been addressed so far is the federation. several controversial decisions that came out such as temporarily stopping league 2 & 3, even though the tragedy occurred in league 1 (KANJURUHAN TRAGEDY). And maybe what usually happens in world football is club finance which ends in cooperation between the football mafia and the club owner or the player.

@Central Intelligence Agency Fasilitas itu yang utama. disini bukan fasilitas di klub liga 1. tapi fasilitas pemain muda. Lu juga bisa lihat dari agility pemain kita, mereka selalu kalah dalam hal fisik.
Lu juga bisa lihat perbandingan Asnawi saat di-indo dan di Korea. Waktu di PSM dan waktu di Korea berbeda jauh. Dulu dia hanya memanfaatkan kecepatan dan work rate/etos kerja. Sekarang dia udah manfaatkan fisik dia, keliatan kan bedanya waktu main di timnas kemarin dibandingkan sebelumnya.
Lu bayangkan aja kalau fasilitas sudah merata mulai dari liga kasta tertinggi sampai liga u17.
Ohiya, yang dimaksud disini seperti SSB, klub epa dll.
Dan gak ada kata percuma. Kalau berbicara kultur, itu hal yang sudah impossible untuk diubah. Kenapa ? Karena lingkungan liga Indonesia, bukan cuman Indonesia tapi Asia. Kalau pun bisa diubah, itu hanya di lingkungan timnas masih memungkinkan begitu juga timnas di Asia.
Intinya sekarang fasilitas dan federasi. Bagaimana federasi bisa memanajemen liganya. Sebenarnya ini saya hanya mengulang perkataan pelatih Thailand. Dia mengatakan Indonesia sangat lemah di "Federasi,liga,klub dan development pemain muda". Ini waktu wawancara timnas dibawah Luis Milla.

1. Bukutangkis ga usah diragukan lagi, Indonesia puluhan tahun mendomiansi jadi negara terkuat di dunia, saat ini bs dibilang top3/top5 di dunia..
Sistem scouting, pembinaan usia dini, sparring dll sangat baik, walaupu. Agak mengalami penurunan akhir2 ini tp bulutangkis indonesia ttp kelas dunia..
2. Basket
10 thn yg lalu dan hari ini udh sangat berbeda jauh, semua berkat azrul ananda menurut saya..
10thn lalu azrul seolah berjuang seorang diri membangkitkan basket di Indonesia, hari ini benih yg ia tanam mulai terasa, byk org mulai aware dgn pentingnya pembinaan usia dini, masyarakat jg mulai gemar basket..
Liga semakin profesional, dibentuk timnas usia muda yg ikut liga profesional (menambah pengalaman) training camp di LN, dll.. tentu msh byk kekurangan basket, tapi paling tdk ada kemajuan yg terlihar, dan sudah ada di track yg tepat.

They banned Russia from any football related events yet they didn't ban Israel for persecuting Palestinians on the daily basis? Di Brazil juga Favela2 (kawasan kumuh) adanya lapangan futsal beraspal bro, ala2 FIFA street gitu, tapi pemaen2 top Brazil dari Favela semua. Yg dari golongan menengah atas paling Kaka ato yang bule2 laen. Macem Neymar, Ronaldo Nazario, Ronaldinho, yg item2 itu datengnya dari Favela.
Tapi nyatanya Brazil unggul di kedua kategori. Beda kaya Afrika, di sepakbola banyak yang ranking tinggi, tapi di futsal bisa dibilang ga ada. Mungkin ya karena Afrika masih banyak tanah kosong, jadi bebas maen sepakbolanya, ga kaya Brazil dan Indonesia yang pemukimannya padet banget.
Tapi disamping itu semua, salah satu aspek yang sangat berpengaruh ya politisasinya itu. Futsal ga gt banyak drama politik, agama, dan huru hara macem sepakbola. Jadi pengurus2 Futsal Indo ya bisa dengan bebas berkreasi, karena minim intervensi. Makin kental politiknya, makin susah fokus lah para pemain dan pelatih.

Di Brazil, terutama di Favela, orang main biasa aja, bahkan banyak yang gapake sendal, ukuran lapangan cuma 15 meteran tapi banyak tersebar di seluruh favela, mereka bermain karena mereka gaada kegiatan lain, di dalam proses nya mereka bermain dan mengembangkan skillnya, mereka merasa ingin menjadi lebih baik dari teman temannya, semakin kompetitif semakin tinggi ritme permainan nya semakin tinggi pula perkembangan skillnya akhirnya ketika bermain tanpa disadari skill mereka bisa melewati pemain pemain yang berfasilitas lengkap yang ada di inggris dan jerman, makanya banyak pemain bintang dari Brazil.

A lot of things have to change for Indonesia to be a football powerhouse, at least in South East Asia in which we have lost SIX REGIONAL CUP GRAND FINALS in six grand final appearances.
1. Indonesia needs to relax its limitation on dual citizenship. This will help diaspora players to have a good career in Europe's best leagues without worrying about their nationality status. Remember: European leagues imposes certain limits on players with non-EU nationality; if a diaspora player switches nationality to Indonesia, he MUST lose his EU nationality, which will hamper his career in Europe.
2. The youth development must be overhauled. Build something like France's famous Clairefontaine to find young talents and train them to be great footballers. Also, build a development system that encompasses training from the youngest age group to pre-senior level.
3. The leagues must be run professionally, from the top to the bottom.
4. The current referees must either be retrained or discarded. God knows how many legit goals in Indonesian leagues were called off for offside because the stupid linesmen have this "through ball = offside" mindset. This could indirectly make the NT players hesitate to utilize through balls and instead use other less effective methods such as crosses, because the league trained them that toxic mindset.
5. The mafia must be exterminated.

Indonesia does not yet have a fairly good system for developing young players.
Indonesia tends to focus on tactical play but lacks in the physical development of players (players' physical and psychological strength).
Development of young Indonesian players Less than a few points such as:
_lack of physical development of young players
_Lack of tactical development of playing modern football which is better for young players.
And a system like this needs to be implemented in every football training activity throughout Indonesia.
This system needs to be implemented in every school in Indonesia, in football academies in every region in Indonesia, and even starting from the smallest environment from small teams throughout Indonesia.
Schools in Indonesia are lacking in focusing on developing young players in football.
In Indonesia, football is not a promising field for Indonesian children to have a career.
This mindset can arise because Indonesia's large population makes the possibility of increased competitiveness.
So it takes a strong belief to enter the field of Indonesian football career,
To encourage Indonesian children's confidence, it is necessary to develop a good system that allows Indonesian children not to just practice ball, but as a good first step for them to move in a better direction in pursuing an Indonesian football career.

It's not about the mentality of Indonesian football player, it's not about the facilities, it's also not about the amount of talented players.I believe we have a great fighting spirit, we also have enough facilities, Indonesia also almost never run out of talented players. But, It's about the management that is extraordinary bad. Football is seen as a field of business by the federation, not as something that may bring up country's good name. It's a shame that we actually had a lot of young talented player, but the pattern is always the same. Eventually, they will be forgotten and didn't catch their chance to rise or to shine. And that's, I think, is one of the biggest problem of Indonesian Football.
