So, here is Luz being a sister to Luz and King.

I just love how the fandom doesn’t just “Ship them” out of nowhere. It’s really fitting to see a brother and sister relationship instead of forcing a tiring “love triangle” cliche. I really love Lumity

listen I love amity and hunter as foils just as much as anybody but luz and hunter have SUCH good parallels and are so well written, and they're probably my favorite foils in media in general. they just Work so well

Yeah. He never said anything, either, like, "Get out of here!" or "I'll hold her off!" He just did it.
Spoiler for most recent episode
Its cute because hunter protects whoever he is with- in the most recent episode he was with Gus and upon seeing scouts immediately moved in front to attack, and later came to willows defense (though arguably everybody was fighting so it couldve been anyone here)

It's amazing. Both these guys act like jerks, and then after meeting Luz, we see their good sides come to the surface. She can bring out the best in anyone.
I think eventually they'll bond with each other.
Don't forget Amity. She's had the best character development in the show so far, and that's entirely thanks to Luz.

There's a cost to it however. She doesn't take the time to understand herself.

I really love the episode where they go to kings castle. They show a character with a lot of really stigmatized and demonized mental health symptoms and show him as an amazing person with those issues. His friends and family don’t treat him like shit because he has delusions of grandeur and psychotic symptoms. It’s so amazing to see. I could talk about this stuff for hours and I have in the past. 😂
She helped King find himself. She helped Hunter develop the will to find himself. And yet, she barely understands who she is and what she wants. Speaking from experience, as long as she doesn't take the time to analyse other people, other stories, compare them to herself, try to think who she is when she's alone... she's not going to figure out anything about herself.
Alex did such a good job at playing King in this episode, literally got goosebumps from him talking

I noticed too. I guess a mask can really change how people perceive them, or maybe it's because he has more room for confidence and without being looked down upon with the mask on.

God it such an emotionally charged scene when you see King breakdown. Also u gotta wonder how much Appleblood Eda drinks just on her down time if by her third cup she on the roof side note I wonder if Eda drinks the amount of Appleblood she does to numb her emotional trauma.
I think apple blood might be non-alcoholic. I mean, it was served to a group of children, after all. Terra was the one in charge, yes, but everything else seemed to be above board before her meddling.
I think she's just hyperactive and apple blood is basically pure sugar. Explains the antics, and her crashes are just.... Well, sugar rush crashes.
Like, it's played up nearly identically to be alcohol, and I'm sure that's the parallel, but I think it's something akin to apple cider or apple nectar
@@weebjeez that's very possible but the Apple blood given to kids might just be the unage/non alcoholic kind but the more think on it u may have a better theory but I would add that it might also have naturally occurring caffeine in it explaining more why Eda drinks it in the morning like coffee.

The Owl House shows that family is more than blood relations or traditional "nuclear family" dynamics. Luz just fell into Eda's world by chance, but she became a Clawthorne like King. It's the most genuine kind of family, the kind that stays together by choice. Luz chose to become "Edalyn's kid" and King's big sister, because she loves them as she loves her mother. Hopefully she won't have to choose between the Human Realm and the Demon Realm. A family's a family, whether by birth or by choice.

That maybe a foreshadowing in the future for hunter to finally learn magic, he isn't able to use magic like Luz, but he isn't form the human realm, so he maybe like a half witch half human, of course like any show mystery, that's just a theory, Bellos is his uncle after all

Something I thought was cool was that the later the show goes, the less Luz is shown to coo and coddle and talk down to King. She begins seeing him less than just a cute wittle pet and sees him more as an equal. And Eda almost never talked down to him because she knew how smart and clever King was. Just because he’s a kid doesn’t mean he’s less mature than a teen.

With the recent theories that Belos’s brother was a descendant of the Clawthorne family, that would make Hunter kinda like Luz’s sibling. Luz is basically found family of the Clawthorne.
Ancestor not decedent since he didn’t come from the clawthorne family, Caleb probably married into the clawthorne family.
Imagine if Hunter blushed when Luz said "Too slow" then Amity comes out of nowhere and says "Stay away from my Luz!"
