One thing those videos do not get right is how advanced the equipment of each army is. I mean it's not all about numbers. 10 iPhones from the 2020s are far more capable than 100 Motorolas from the 2010s. An other thing is how many of those vehicles are actually operational. To be fair, I don't think that there is an actual way to get this information if you are not a member of the country's military. But yeah, when it comes to war it is not just 4>2 so 4 wins end of story..

Honestly I don't think that the numbers make that much of a difference. The fact that both have massive militaries means that a war between Turkey and Greece would be catastrophical for both... thousands would die in both sides.
If there is a hunt and Turkey and Greece enter the war, Turkey will not only fight with Greece. There are states behind Greece. I find these kind of comparison videos ridiculous. Numbers on paper cannot be trusted when their accuracy is not certain. According to statistics, Russia was expected to crush Ukraine, but Ukraine is about to win the war. Therefore, data such as population, number of ships, number of tanks only give an idea, but never lead to a definitive conclusion. There are so many factors that come into play here that you can't even think of in case of war. From the training quality of the soldiers to the courage, from the preparedness of the army to the modernized state, from the allied support to the economic situation...
The real factor that lead a country to victory in war is the preparetion of the citizens. Turkish citizens always ready for war. We call ourselfs as soldier born. If a war starts Türkiye's soldiers not just 1 or 2 millions. It's around 30 million young men want to defend country.

I'd like to point out something important that many here in the comments seem to be forgetting, us Greeks having around the half of Turkey's military in all regards considering we are so much smaller country than Turkey just goes to show you just how much Greece is focusing in it's defences and shouldn't be underestimated as that would be a big mistake. Of course numbers doesn't always tell the truth, look at Russia for example Ukraine is resisting hell of a lot more than they thought and still is even to this day. It's all about tactics, experience, moral to defend/attack X country that will determene the outcome of a war.
I do beleive that if Greece fight alone vs Turkey that it'll be a bloody bath and the Greeks will have to fight with all of their strengts to try and defend their homeland, but in the end I do beleive unless something drastic changes Turkey will most likely win a 1v1 battle (maybe) but the thing is that Greece is not alone, in fact has France, Israel, Cyprus, Italy to name a few that will come to their aid and let's not forget NATO & EU too. So it'll be Turkey vs whole NATO and EU which then will be a epic failure for Turkey and will lose this war.
We don't want war, in fact we have tried so hard to find a diplomatic solution with Turkey, but they ignore all of that and keep threatening us with war and entering our air space & greek waters on a daily basis. Erdogan is a madman, thinking he can re-create the ottoman empire again and will be the last thing he will attempt before having to step down. Wake up people of Turkey, he doesn't care for you only thing he cares for is his own interest and he couldn't think less for Turkey and it's people.

@@-AuvAuv- I understand your worries just like we do here in Greece. In my eyes the only way to stop anything like this to happen is that the people of Turkey unite and call for Erdogan to resign from political power but that will most likely not happen sadly.
Let's hope we can continue to have peace, as war doesn't do anyone good only problems for both sides.
Many ppl say its just a diversion to make ppl focus on that other than the economic problems in our country
As a Turkish, i agree with u in many points.Most of Turks doesn't like Erdogan either,mostly old people gave their vote to him but even old people's ideas about Erdogan have changed.I know when it comes to politics,Erdogan is pretty bad but I think you should reconsider your opinions about Greek-Turkish conflict.Even though my father is half Greek(Karaman), I always hated Greece's policy for years.But when I researched it from non-Turkish sources,I saw that we were not very innocent either.I suggest you leave your nationalist feelings and do some research from the point of view of the Turks.You'll see that both countries aren't innocent in this conflict.
Btw dont worry I am sure a war will not happen. Because he said the same thing (we migh come unexpectedly one night) to syria for an ops but it never happened so a war is unlikely but its still possible but with a low chance
