This console table has plans available! The plans include 25 chapters of long format videos covering everything you'll need to build this piece. The plans also come with detailed dimensional drawings, templates and more! You can use this piece as a media console, hall table, and more. Personally I've used mine for the past several years as an entryway piece. This is where we set our mail, keys, phones, and so on when we enter the house. It has served us really well and it's one of the most used pieces that I have ever built.

I fall squarely into the ""I wish I could do that" but for so many reasons am happy to also be in the "I'd pay what I had to for that kind of craftsmanship" category. I'd fill my home with this kind of furniture if I had the money. Stunning.
Exactly
Same! High quality furniture is so worth the money if you can afford it!
@@Psykel i rather buy something decent at ikea and invest in my retirement or save towards a vacation.
@@zloungeact To each their own. I’d prefer spending my money on a piece of quality furniture I can use for the rest of my life and going on vacation next year.
@@zloungeactid pay for that piece for its craftsmanship and for the chance to see my grandkids still use them
Stunning piece, excellent presentation, and great production. I’m just a beginning woodworker, but I’m inspired to try this one day before long. Thank you.
Excellent job on this one, Chris! So cool to see one of your old pieces come back to life!
Thanks man...always nice to go back and spend the time giving them the treatment they deserved to begin with :)
Another truly incredible build and video. You continue to inspire. Thank you for taking the time to share your talents with us!
Incredible build as usual, and great details around many of the techniques you use... inspiring!
Beautiful camera work and editing. The level of description and thought throughout the entire build is excellent. Really well done, and the carpentry ain't too shabby...
Chris, It sure is good to see you giving talks on here. I miss your instructional videos and commentaries. The ideas of alternative methods are alwas helpful as you've "been there done that" and it eases many apprehensions I myself feel toward diving into a project. Thank you.
can I just say, keep doing these videos. Your tutorial voice is keeping me occupied during work, i just put this on my laptop screen and watch once in a while, this keeps me engaged!!! Love it
also the end products are alwaaayys so beautiful. Well done!!
your guys plans have been huge in my progression as a woodworker. Yours and Shauns way of woodworking just vibes with me
Beautiful Chris! I love this piece and the style of video. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the process. 👍👍
Been watching your videos for years now. Back when you and Shawn had separate channels. Then when you joined up my mind was blown. You are actually one of the reasons I got into woodworking myself. Been setting up my workshop all summer and looking forward to building some of your designs this fall. Thanks for making amazing videos. I haven’t bought your plans yet but I definitely will when I’m ready to start working on some projects.
Been lurking a while, and it's so relaxing watching you guys. Beautiful design and execution. Subscribed, bought the plans for my winter project.
Classic ... in every way.
Classy, typical foureyes build.
Loved every minutes!
Thanks buddy
Define "classic."
Just want to say, I love watching/listening to your videos while I work. Your voice is very soothing to listen to and I appreciate the woodworking skills you have and how you're willing to learn from mistakes/being willing to experiment (like with your crayon tables). :)
I very much love watching your videos. Not only are they very well done videos but I personally love to see fine woodworking done very fine. I have been woodworking for many years, traditionally trained and I like to think that my work is of similar quality. I am a dentist by trade but love spending as much time as possible in my shop. Very well done!
Great job guys! Your designs are very nice and the videos follow this trend. You can feel the prep and craftsmanship in both cases. ⚡️👍🏻
Love the videos with the animations, makes it really clear to visualize. You guys have me turning my garage into a wood shop.
Chris, these videos are fantastic. Not only is the furniture beautiful, but the story telling is also interesting! Cheers!
I like your work, knowing that for you it is a calling. Binjamin Franklyn said ""He who endeaveors in what he enjoys, never works a day in his life". I think I see that in you.
Y have embarked on a career that I did't have the courage to undertake earlier in my life. BRAVO TO YOU I'm old now and live in a small condo so inether have the room or the finances to enjoy your work in person, BUT now I still can have a good day watching your efforts putting your soul into every project.
Pay no mind to the nay-sayers.. There will always be folks who try to build themselves up by tearing others down... Carry on you and your creations make this old guy's day.
I've purchased multiple plans from you this might have to be the next one. This is stunning man - amazing design and instruction!
the voice processing tho - so crisp
I really enjoyed this layout for your project video. Very educational and inspiring. Look forward to what you guys have coming in the future!
Thanks so much!
Absolutely gorgeous piece. Everything I have been commissioned to make has been a more rustic or industrial style (I live in East Texas) however, I love your modern and clean style. Once I have an office space that is truly my own, I plan to fill it with pieces along the same lines as your work.
I am glad I came across this channel when looking for SketchUp tutorials. I love the content you are sharing. This is a masterclass. Thanks. 🇹🇿🍾
Thanks! Glad you found us and that you're enjoying :)
First time running into your channel, just wanted to compliment the logo concept (and of course the videos, which are also awesome)
Such a great way to turn what's usually an offensive jab at someone's eyesight into something unique, recognizable and fun. A+!
Beautiful work, great video! Congrats and thanks!
Great job guys! And it s really pleasant to watch your videos!👏👏👏
I just got the Desquire plans and, let me tell you, Chris is not kidding. Super detailed, all cuts, hole placements, everything is laid out and the video chapters really add understanding and context to the plans, as well as the other way around. I will be getting more plans from him in the future! Keep up the good work, man!
Thanks TJ...appreciate the support and glad you're enjoying the desquire so far :)
Spectacular design, construction, and education. And entertaining to watch and listen.
Stunning work. Your videos are like confort good. Cosy and well filling!
I got inspired by your credenza and made a shoe rack in a similar design. Frame is fir, shelves are mahogany, drawer is plywood.
I wish I could send you guys a pic.
This is so elegant. Beautiful design.
Thank you for articulating a thing I intuitively kind-of knew about screwing into the ends of shelves, but couldn't explain.
You should do a follow-up series where followers follow your plans to make their own pieces -- would be really interesting to see what kinds of challenges others are running into
Thank you for the videos. Your work is absolutely amazing 👏
Love these types of builds. Lots of drawers!
Glad you like them!
Thank you for the detailed explanation. The result looks really good and I may build a similar one. If I remember correctly, you have the same table saw twice in your shop. Have you considered replacing one with a sliding table saw? The fence on the sliding table can be tilted such that the bottom of the leg is parallel to to blade. With that it would be easier to make the dados without the need got a template. I have a “mobile” version, the Mafell Erika. But also the festool Precisio could do the job.
Gorgeous work. I need to study up and get on your level
Really enjoyed this one! Thanks guys keep it up
speechless bro this video was a work of art from your narration to visuals and the piece its self, once I get my table saw this is a piece id buy first. thank you for working so hard on your plans and these vids its such a delight to watch. oh and I highly recommend everyone to check out welcome to the woodshop best channel ever
Thanks man...appreciate it. I highly recommend people checking it out too. It's a good hang :)
Sooo i’m more of a framer myself but also Love to make furniture, i need to try one of your projects but with a twist, propably a Coffee table but out of plywood. Really cool craftsmanship!
reversing the footage at 5:08 made that so satisfying to watch.
Great pieces! Got some great idea's and techniques from this thanks!
Precision, efficient, methodical and always a great product. You guys are always amazing to watch....and I wonder, just how many pairs of glasses do you own? At least two colors in this video. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Douglas... and to answer your question, I have 4 pairs in my current prescription. I change them every time I change my underwear :)
Great video! I love how minimalist it is. Not breaking the bank on stock either, lots of other similar builds require so much more hardwood

Amazing production, I think more work goes into the filming and editing than the build, and then there is the plans! Great work very well done..
Thanks...a lot definitely goes into it. But between building, YT video, and Plans...plans is definitely the most work. Though they are all kind of connected.
Amazing piece. I would love to use that as an AV stand.
Beautiful piece of furniture and super detailed explanation of how to build tuning in from Australia 👍🦘
Well, after a few time, I decided to write a coment. For me you two are not only a youtubers. You're incredible talented people, masters and fantastic teachers for absolut beginners like me. Thank you. Not to mention your awesome, hilarious sense of humor. Thanks from Galicia
Josh...thank you so much for the kind words. We're just glad you're enjoying the videos :)
Thanks! Great forniture piece. 👍🏻
Exclusive work!!!
Brilliant projects. Well done. Amazing.
Great video, I love the furniture y'all make!! As a new woodworker it gets me inspired on what I want to make for our house! :). One tip I wanted to share that I got from another channel about the Blum undermounts. For the hole in the back of the drawer box that you have to drill, instead of using a jig, you can take the box, put it on the rails, and then gently close it a few times and the pins will leave an impression in the wood. Voila, you have your mark on where to drill :D
Awesome, I learned many things, especially about techniques and workflow, although in business as a hobbyist for over 20 yrs! 👍😉 Please Carry on like this 👌😀
Love the combination of oak and walnut, very good content thanks!
Amazing as always...thank you for sharing...!!!
Very good taste! Thanks for the inspiration and tips
You are amazing... And super generous with information.
Beautiful as always !
As always simply amazing.
I absolutely love this and hope to be able to make it some day!
Your projects and videos are amazing!
dude your work is amazing
90% of the people dont even grasp the chore that is producing this video, let alone the work directly done on the piece. This is amazing
Your videos always inspired me to start doing my upcoming woodworking projects even though I never did one! :D
Beautiful as always.
Amazingly beautiful lines
Your desk is beautiful, I'm excited to see your desk, Your workplace is really nice, I like this place.
My cat says this is your best video, and the technical part is his favorite. I agree.
Incredible piece!! 🙌🙌
That is a beautiful piece. I would love to have something like that.
After watching the video advert i was still skeptical. But when i finally downloaded the plans czcams.com/users/postUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG i was very impressed. The whole plan was just as you said in the video. Thank you very much. I now have a large and valuable collection for my woodworks. This is great!
u inspired me so much ♥️♥️ i am really enjoying your design & humours while building ♥️♥️ thanks
Thank you so much 😀
I love watching your channel to see you guys building beautiful furniture, but I don't have the skill or space to build them myself. You lost me with the very in-depth instruction, but love the look of the cabinet! Greetz from the Netherlands!
I'm so curious what software you use for your sketches. I know Sketchup is for the plans, but the animations and artistic renderings are so cool.
Been a long time since a build like this, but worth it. Great job as always Chris, cheers.
So glad that I finally have a reason to kick you money! Buying these plans so I can build a new media console.
I'll need to modify it to make it much lower to the ground since it's going to hold a brand new Vava Chroma projector, but I knew when I preordered the projector that I'd be looking to one of your designs to build my new cabinet. Either this one or the old record cabinet/media credenza.
Thanks, Chris!
I get it now!! The 1/8 drill bit is to accommodate for the width of the blade!
Lmao, I perked up when I heard the word Foosball. I used to play semi professionally for about 10 years. Even traveling out of state multiple times for tournaments. But it has nothing to do with power ever, it is all fast twitch when it comes to wrist strength (I am 6”4 and when I played I was 275 lbs) I used to regularly get beat by pro masters half my size like I didn’t even show to the table. Thank you for the great wood working videos, my father built every piece of furniture in the house I grew up in, he was an aerospace engineer but his ultimate passion was woodworking in the basement.
Love you furniture and the well thought out processes. Bought a set of plans tonight.
Thanks Justin...hope you enjoy them. Definitely let us know if you have any questions, and share a pic when you're all done :)
After looking through the plans and previewing some of the videos I have to commend y’all on the great product. Really, plans and instructional videos for the masses aren’t easy to pull off but you did it. I can only imagine the effort that is put into them. Bravo.
I am ...... inspired! Fantastic build & video :)
I love those build videos!!!
This is gorgeous. Might be my entryway into more modern furniture ;)
I like what you did there :)
you guys are amazing. I liked this model
Oh yes. This- this is the one I’ve been waiting for.
Classic Chris build video! My favourite content creator. Until I came across Chris and Shaun I thought I was the only person who believed the plural of thickness is thicknii. But, seriously it should be.
I think we're slowly getting mass acceptance of the term :)
@@Foureyes.Furniture Unfortunately not at my office. I tried it the other day in an (internal) technical review. They didn't go for it. I shall persist.
I though was a bit disappointed he didn't say it in this video. Maybe in the plans?
Yup, Yup, Yup.... just as dope as I thought it would be!!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
Beautiful
wow !!! great job !! looks beautiful !!!!! best regards
I like the white oak and walnut blend, good call.
Bro, your videos are just as much a piece of art as your actual projects are.
I like your job man! Keep up
Ooh, I want to build this!
Nice work
I love your animation and motion graphics... a video would be awesome to see how it is done!
That is a very cool looking piece of furniture 👍
I love your designs man
At 34m13s I did it last saturday. I ended up with 12 stitches on my thumb and index because the piece I was cutting kicked on the table saw. USE APPROPRIATE SAFETY TOOLS AND THE BLADE JUST ENOUGH HIGH TO CUT YOUR PIECES ;-)
That is just beautiful❤️
So detailed!!!!
