The sad truth is that Saving Private Ryan actually IS funnier than this. There are some really great moments of humor in that film amid the horrors of war. You really get the feeling that those men are brothers on the battlefield with some of their dialogue and stories -- some of it genuinely funny. Walk of Fame, on the other hand, has none of that. It's a Walk of Shame.
Fun fact: Clint Eastwood got his first iconic role (Fistful of Dollars), because even B actors were not willing to work with Sergio Leone and they recommended him instead (as someone so bad that Leone can afford to hire)
