is it a MUST to use the hose that comes with the KIT or instead can't u just use the 1 that came with the dryer to the box? thanks

You can use either hose as long as you can attach it to the machine after removing the old hose from the connection.

Do you add water to both sides of the condenser?

Yes, fill to the top of the partition and replace regularly if drying for a long time as the cooler the liquid the more efficient it will collect the steam.

Can you use these with washer-dryers?

If your washer dryer has a vent pipe you could use this.

Can I use this with a gas dryer?

No.
A gas dryer will produce the same heat level but also produce carbon monoxide that must be vented from the room or it can kill.

won't it cause mold in the house

Iis still important to ventilate the area as this does not remove all the condensation. However it should be a significant improvement if you are not ventilating externally.

What happens if I don't change the water for a long while?

Water should build up as it is condensed from the humid air so it is likely it would overflow. Not replacing the water in the contained will allow the water to warm and the temperature difference from the air would reduce so it would become less efficient releasing more condensation to the room.
