    Such an iconic ranch in so many aspects. So happy that Taylor and friends bought it and are keeping it in it's entirety with the notion to keep Ms. Anne's vision going. Taylor has some big and classy shoes to follow!

    Considering that Taylor has bought the ranch…not a Hollywood guy but a true cowboy with the right respect for tradition, I think she would approve. You just see him in Yellowstone, and how he produced it and 1883 - plus a series possible on the 6666 - and it should stay economically viable for years to come. Great story on Anne.😉👍

      Taylor Sheridan is from For Worth and he was rumored to purchase the Four 6 Ranch for 341 million USD. It is located in 4 different counties;
      Guthrie, Carson, Hutchison, Sherman Counties. Nobody actually know how it got its name, but the first cattle on the land had brands of '6666'. No shocker the family wants to sell it. How much does it cost to run a ranch this size?

    The fact that places like the 6666 are fining cultural traction gives me hope for the country. I know it sounds hopelessly corny, but the cowboy virtues are largely American virtues. Very few of us can make a living on horseback these days, but living by the cowboy virtues is a worthy goal for all of us. The fact that cowboys are becoming living cultural icons give me hope for the future.
