- The Trust Me Knot is a ritual spell and blood oath that requires a Hexenbiest to perform or preside over in order to ensure that two people agree to a deal they can not break, or else they suffer the consequences of choking to death via hanging.
From Grimm Season 6 Episode 2 ‘Trust Me Knot' - Hank and Wu discover a way to stop Renard; Adalind gets a phone call that puts her in the middle of everything; Monroe and Rosalee get a demonstration of Diana's power; Eve and Trubel work on the mystery of the cloth and the healing stick.

"There once was a man who lived a life so strange, it had to be true. Only he could see what no one else can-the darkness inside, the real monster within, and he's the one who must stop them. This is his calling. This is his duty. This is the life of a Grimm."

I love it when Nick says “she didn’t turn me down”. And his face when he says it 😂😂
Yeah that was awesome 😎
Not just the face, the tone was the cherry.
It was perfect!
One of my favorite Nick Burkhart moments! "She didn't turn me down" and Renards face...priceless!
love how this made Nick and Adalind seem like a real team
If I understand correctly terms of this deal, it means that if standing before grand jury Adalind changes her mind and refuses to testify, the deal is broken from Nick's side, and he is being immediately choked to death by the magical knot. So in this scene, Nick actually declares that he trusts Adalind absolutely, even with his life. I wonder if other participants understand the importance of it.
*rope twisting into a noose*
Wu- “well, uh, don’t wanna be breaking that”
The Trust Me Knot oath is sealed and bound by Adalind's blood. Loophole: only she can break the seal. Yep. And Sean Renard anticipated it.
It's just like the unbreakable vow in Harry potter and the covenant spell in Legacies.
By exploiting loopholes, the Trust Me Knot is put into moot (question) with no fatal consequences. If I was Adalind, I would've added "neither one of u will exploit any loopholes", thus making the deal absolute.
Magic is kinda its own loophole.
I love that I'm not the only one who notice how similar this is to the unbreakable vow.
Thanks Grimm! Nick will never break the Oath!
He is so honorable yet he is the one that ends with law against him!!

@@ostayzy I know, still hurts though!!
@@Achuidian179 Ye, It does!
I wish we could use it on politicians.
Most of them wouldn’t last till next day 😂 . An hour after they did it they would be trying to find loopholes to get out of it .
why use black magic when we Americans have the constitutional right to remove, arrest, and in some cases execute any & all members of the government should such individuals become corrupt and or betray the nation for personal gain
@@KingDeathscythe666 .... hahhaha
Bodies would line the streets all over the world.
this show was goated they should make a new season
Even though know different, always expect Renard to drop the rope before the blood gets to him.
HAPPY 10 year anniversary GRIMM
Of course, the blood contract is a good way not to break it, but it's a pity that Renard found a way around it, and Adalinda did it only for Nick's sake.
There were 3 people involved in the oath:Nick, Adalind and Sean Renard.
Adalind is the one who sealed the oath with her Hexenbeast blood, and of course, Adalind is the only one who can break the seal of the oath. Once broken, neither Nick nor Sean can die...
All Sean had 2 do was trick Adalind into breaking the seal... easy peazy 4 Sean Renard...
@@chrisblack7226 Who is Adalinda I know, I watch this series not for the first time, and explain who is who is not necessary please
Wu; Oh! I don't wanna be breaking that. 😂😂
Grimm premiered Oct 28th 10 years ago! Love this show.
I was hoping we'd see Hank and Wu's reaction to Adalind woging. I can't remember if they'd seen her as a Hexenbiest before this
They knew what a Biest was from seeing Renard.
I think her back was turned to them, so they couldn't see her face. I'm surprised hey can handle all this.
I think they have see Juliette's woge face. At least Hank.
Don't want to be breaking that LOL
So here's the problem with this deal. Nick is agreeing that Adalind will testify on Renard's behalf. If she dies or becomes incapacitated on or before the day she is supposed to do that, will the knot kill Nick? His condition is not something he can willingly control. So am I to assume that the trust has to be willingly broken or will the knot kill Nick if Adalind somehow isn't able to help Nick fulfill his end of the deal? Would it not have been better for Adalind to make the deal instead of Nick? That would have ensured that she herself couldn't back out. I get that Nick was willing to make a deal with the knot, but his end of the deal has to do with Adalind fulfilling his end of the agreement.
A little pun from Wu.
Am I the only who is not surprised that the end results is a noose?
And what is there to be surprised, it also clearly and clearly said for violation of the contract death, well, or torment, I do not remember exactly
Keep 'em video clips coming~
Love this bit
such a good show
where can i watch this all over again from season 1? really miss this show so badd
It's the unbreakable vow!
you need to do a video of meisner and nick saving trouble from the hospital
How did i knot see this
To give his own honor to his truth
Hmm Reminds me Of Snape and Malfoys Mother Oath for Dacro...🧐
there is also one question grimm needs to answer so in the final episode that says 20 years later did nick and adalind get married?
yes the writers said they were
They were married before getting married.
you can put scene where adalind gives milk to the cat and that cat scratches juliette and is in a coma
doesnt that mean if adalind doesnt testify (if she refuses or maybe even dies) nick broke his part of the deal and will die ?
if an outside force did something then the deal is null and voided. they actually bring up why the knot was voided and Renard didn't have the knot appear and strangle him
point*
❤️
Love N and A
I feel like with the whole bribe thing that this could have been better
is there any other places to watch this amazing show cuz its not on netflix anymore
It's currently on The Comet network.
Rabbi Tovia Singer from Jerusalem makes a "Trust Me Knot," with Jesus so that neither of them can lie about the messiah thing of if jesus is the messiah or not and if jesus can prove that he's the messiah or not
I don't remember if Renard finds a way to break it
Yes, his cronies will help him.
Donde puedo ver la serie
So what was the pint of the trust me knot if it wasn't going to work like renard said hes not gonna drop the charges until he is clear by gran jury
so Renard wouldn't kill Nick or do anything to Hank, Wu
Как раз эта серия идёт у нас
I like this oath.....
Ник никогда ни нарушит клятву.
A verdadeira macumba, acho.
You guys really must post something with Nick&Angelina(season 2, episode6) .. those 2 were even a better duo than Nick&Monroe.
Adalind has been with Hank, Reynard and Nick 😂…so Renard was right.
Hank doesn't count. Hank was the result of a spell Adaline used. Wu had a reason to want her dead, he took at least one of the tainted cookies Adaline made for Hank and nearly died for it. Good thing he had been sent to the Spice shop to guard Rosalee. She recognized the symptoms and knew what to do.
