This song will always be special to me. This is the first Japanese song I learned to sing at Karaoke at my local anime con. I practiced it for months! I will never forget singing this and everyone cheering for me when I was done.
I watched CCS when i was 12 for (actually saw a bit when i was 5 but i was too young to remember) so i uh had that 8th grader syndrome where i pretended to be the cardcaptor XD. I was a weird kid .-. I remember watching the 2nd movie when iwas 15 in 2009 and i fangirled like crazy for days. im watching clear card now but its too different T_T

So people think those parts were never dubbed but it isn't true. Sadly even the shady sites have the Netflix version of the dub . So i have those episodes in horrible audio quality

I don't know why but whenever I watch other animes like the modern ones, yea it's beautiful, adventurous, crazy, fun and exciting. But when I watch Cardcaptor Sakura, yes I get this tingling excitement like how I would watch the modern ones with different plots, yet even if they call this anime kind of childish because of the plot, I always get this peaceful feeling when I watch it. I've been watching this since I was in Grade School. And now I'm in college, I still get the peaceful feeling when I rewatch this.
CardCaptor Sakura - To me is handcrafted. Made for the audience it was targeted at. Nothing over the top either; it got it's message across and CLAMP did a fantastic job doing so :) Sakura Kinomoto...Reluctant Heroine....External Legend. If only anime would have more....I dunno....Peaceful and gentle thoughts when we think of it :) Classic from the let go... I wouldn't have it, Any other way ;)
Decades ago, at an anime con that no longer exists, I walked into a viewing room and saw the last 20 minutes of this movie. I had no context for what was happening, but I was able to piece together the heartbreaking story of a hero desperately fighting to save her friends by convincing a lost ghost to finally rest. When this wonderful song played during the credits, it forever cemented itself in my mind, linked to that sad haunting ending.
I love this song so much, it brings back the good old days. This will never get old! Its 2019 now but everytime I rewatch CCS it always feel exactly the same as it was in 2006 when I first watched it.

The song of my childhood. I think I first heard it when I was 10 and just discovering anime and Japanese culture back on Neopets. 20 years later, it’s still has a special place in my heart along with Catch Me Catch You.
2021 and CCS still has a very special place in my heart. This means my early teenage years, my first love and my first kiss. As Sakura, my mom died when I was very young (4) and I had an older sister and my dad. You can't even imagine how much I identified myself with this character, I truly loved this story an will keep on loving it until I'm old and grey.
