Nazi Veteran Honored in Canada Was Part of Wave of Collaborators Harbored in West

  • Poland says it’s preparing to seek the extradition of a 98-year-old Ukrainian Nazi after he received a standing ovation in the Canadian House of Commons last week following a speech by visiting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Yaroslav Hunka was invited by the speaker of the House, who has since resigned his post, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau formally apologized for the episode on Wednesday. Hunka fought during World War II with a Nazi unit composed of Ukrainian volunteers who were involved in numerous atrocities, including massacres of Jewish civilians. But Hunka is not an outlier, according to Ukrainian American journalist Lev Golinkin, who says Canada took in many Ukrainian Nazi collaborators after the war. That includes the grandfather of Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, who spent years painting him as a victim rather than the Nazi propagandist he was. “Of course Hunka didn’t think anything would happen, because you had the deputy prime minister who was caught whitewashing a Nazi collaborator, and nothing happened,” says Golinkin.

I am from Poland and I know our history! it is not true that only a small number of Ukrainians joined German Nazis in the WWII, There were tens of thens of thousands of those Ukrainian volunteers and there were extreme in brutality against Poles ( West Ukraine belonged to Poland in that time), Jews and Russians. They slaughtered 150 000 innocent Polish people in Wolyn and the area in years 1943-46.Nailing babies to the tables with their mothers watching their agony, crucifying men on the fences, using kitchen and agriculture tools in torturing and killing in a way that the victims will feel dying. Putin is absolutely roght starting this special operation against Kiev Regime, then in the last 20 years the neonazis in Ukraine finding all support fromUS, London and Canada again were multiplying and in small groups doing exactly as they did in the times of WWII. Donbas 2016 is only one tragic example. If the Americans or other parts of the West want to ignore the history and nowadays political reality should not have any voice on international or national arenas!

All buildings were destroyed during the Holocaust and Jews of Lviv were killed immediately after the Germans entered the city by the locals. You may google it and see horrendous photos of these crimes. I was surprised that since Ukraine's independence in 1991 no one even tried to rebuild these synagogues. The Soviets were gone for 26 years, and all other churches were restored and operational, but not those. My Ukranian friends told me that there were no Jews left in the city and even if they were there, they would not dare to aggravate the local population.

My family is originally from the Eastern part of Ukraine, which is where the majority of Ukrainian Jews live. There is a reason the Jewish population is smaller in the Western region, and it is due to the insane antisemitism and neo-Nazi activities there. Which is why it is ironic Putin invaded the East, under the guise of denazification. The Nazis all live in the West.

Many Nazi officers and generals were appointed in high ranking positions in NATO. All they wanted to do was contain Russia and the Soviet Union. NATO never cared about Nazis.
-Hans Speidel (served under NATO as commander in chief of Allied Land Forces in Central Europe (COMLANDCENT)) and Adolf Heusinger as chief of Combined Forces.
-Johann von Kielmansegg, General Cabinet Officer of the Nazi Army High Command, after the war he joined the German Army and rose to Brigadier General and rose to the highest positions in NATO as Commander-in-Chief of Special Forces in Central Europe in 1967.
-Ernst Ferber, lieutenant colonel in the Wehrmacht General Staff, decorated with the Iron Cross. He became Commander-in-Chief of NATO’s Central European Allied Forces between 1973 and 1975.
-Karl Schnell, major and first officer of the General Staff in Nazi Germany, received the Iron Cross. He replaced General Ferber as Commander-in-Chief of NATO’s Allied Forces Central Europe between 1975 and 1977.
-Franz Joseph Schulze, lieutenant in the service of the Nazi air forces as commander of a regiment. He received the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. In post-war Germany he was a general and later commander-in-chief of NATO’s Central European Allied Forces from 1977 to 1979

What impresses me most in what happened in the hall of the Canadian parliament is that THE ENTIRE HALL stood up to applaud, NOBODY had any doubts, NOT ONE of the members of parliament was struck by the elementary suspicion that at that time those who were fighting against the Russians in Ukraine they were also fighting alongside the Nazis. Anyone with a middle school education should know that those who fought the Russians on the Eastern Front were active allies of the Nazis, these Canadian MPs are supposed to represent Canadian elites and NONE of them even had any doubts! EVERYONE applauded! This dark and stolid unanimity in a democratic chamber is true National-Socialism 2.0!

Their ultimate goal is to break Russia further apart into manageable pieces like they did with the Soviet Union and control it's resources strip off its nukes and keep maintaining hegemony. For this they need consent from masses and hence all this propaganda. Like they did with arabs before. now everyone thinks Russians are subhuman orcs and it's OK to kill them.
