What to see in DOWNTOWN Los Angeles

  • Downtown Los Angeles is a diverse collection of neighborhoods, representing the many cultures of the nation's second largest city. In this video, I'm taking you downtown to see some of the great and unique things that you can only experience in Los Angeles!

    Do we need a car to go from place to place in down town la?

      Parking downtown is difficult, I’d suggest parking once and either walking, taking an Uber or taking the metro to get between places. I’ve seen people take the electric scooters or bikes around downtown too

      Downtown LA is actually one of the more walkable areas of LA metro. There's a lot to see for instance between the Walt Disney Concert Hall/Broad Museum to the restaurants and bars in the financial district to Little Tokyo and the Arts District. All in close proximity.
      It also has a congregation of light rail lines.
      Having said that, the area has greatly gentrified and grown. So if you for example wanted to see Crypto Arena where the Lakers play, and surrounding area, it's a bit farther west than the areas mentioned above. In that case it's probably better to Uber/Lyft between these areas.

      The little train thing is at the end (when you walk through the market) of the market he mentioned first. Also, I've been there, just go to the market and the train thing, if you keep walking down the street it's really bad, super duper shady

      7th Street/ Metro Centre
