as a sim enthusiast with an obsession with the 380, I can't even put into words how excited i am to 'get into the cockpit' of this beauty! you guys and girls have done an immense job so far!
This is definitely the most awaited plane for me for years, as far as I know there is no other decent A380 in another simulator, thank you very much, Fly by Wire.
You have the 380 in Aerofly, its really good. Only the sim is debatable

We've already given up waiting for this project, we all really admire FBW's work, but just like PMDG, the announcements are so motivating and the reality is so frustrating.

Well, not sure how common it is, but a couple weeks back a turtle was spotted crossing one of the runways in Sydney... they sent a car out to pick him up and put him back in a pond. Was pretty amusing. So I'm sure it happens at other airports around the world too.

I have never donated to free projects but this completely changed my mind and that’s the first thing on my agenda once i get my next pay check. It is criminal to have something like this for free. You guys deserve it ! As a community we need to support this kind of work so that they can keep producing such beauties.

From previous images we know, the RR engine variant is modelled so we´ll see the A380-841 for sure. I don´t know if I missed it (there is a good chance that I have) but will we also see the A380-861?

I think the cockpit is too weathered to my taste. But overall i am very excited with this release. FBW did not disappoint with the 320Neo I hope this too
Unfortunately there are no new A380 aircraft out there 😩 Many will look similar to this video and we wish to bring authenticity with our product.
@@FlyByWireSim Love your work, but I would liked the option to choose between weathered and new in the EFB. I like the look (and almost smell) of a new aircraft in the sim .

Doubt you will see this release in 2022, maybe by mid 2023 the systems and the flight model are the hardest part to do correctly.

@@sxxnivy2865 After 2 years the 320nx is not even finished yet and you are talking about a 380 coming out in 2022. Remember these guys don't do this full time and have jobs and work on the project when they have time, I think expecting this to release in 2022 is wishful thinking. Id be surprised if it comes out before mid 2023 if its going to have decent systems and flight model to be honest.

This aircraft has been waiting for a long time, the story prays that many companies have already tried to do it but ended up abandoning the project, always leaving a bitter aftertaste, since all the other aircraft appeared A318, A319, A320. A321, A330, A340, B737, B747, B777,B787 and many more with some exceptions for certain models.
For me (on my part), it's a aircraft that has been highly anticipated over the years, always researching if there was any news as soon as it came out.
Despite knowing that it's a free aircraft if it's an easy process I'll make a point of contributing to the team, some companies charge for their aircrafts as such (they also take time to put on the market), even if it is a symbolic value, if everyone contributes, it will be a great help for this project to continue in the near future.
For the first time I see that for this model A380 it is really in a very advanced process (I had never seen) for which I can only congratulate everyone who is part of this project, they have their free time to bring us something as Wonderful, Legendary and your magic as this aircraft.
It will be released don’t worry. A lot of core stuff from A32nx can be reused too.
