so NY will be paying 3.75 million and a 2nd and a 5th for Smith who had 13 goals last year.....not a good deal for NY

Drury has dealt away 23 picks and gotten 11 in return unless my math is wrong. Most notably a net loss of 1 first round pick, 5 second round picks and 5 fourth round picks. That's too many picks to lose in just 3 years with not much to show for it if anything.
Not gonna miss him, at least you only have him one more year who knows he may work out

Smith sucks as bad as Dubas. Dubas of Toronto could of signed Bunting of Toronto for free as a UFA last summer and instead picked up Smith who can't play. Then Dubas trades Guentzel for Bunting who could of signed as a UFA. Don't forget instead of a prospect Dubas got 3 bum C list prospects. I hate Dubas and FSG.

@@llllllll153 The guy has dealt away pick after pick after pick with almost nothing to show for it. Before the Smith trade, the only notable forward or defensemen that Drury has acquired currently with the team is Trocheck. Just a terrible job. If it wasn't for Igor, Drury would be run out of town.
@@mikeb3216 u have it all wrong. While he’s trying to win with this team he’s also trying to clean up Gortons mess. Like I said THIS ISNT DRURYS TEAM ITS STILL GORTONS TEAM! We won’t see Drurys team until players like Othman, perreault and now emery r regular NHLers… Drurys doing a good job. If u know what this team needs or know how to build an NHL team, then go apply for front office position in NHL.
@@llllllll153 It's been 3 years now and all he's done it give away assets with nothing to show for it. There is nothing you can point to that says He's doing a good job so you resort to childish deflecting. 3 guys who've played almost no NHL games is nothing to hang your hat on.
