Personally, I like to think she was affected as well as Paul and, if I had the ability to reshoot this episode, there'd be a segment of her doing something like writing something down and then rewinding as soon as Barry or Paul opens the box. On the subject of range, exactly how far a radius does the box's influence cover? It's obviously quite wide as Paul keeps going, despite no longer being in the room and only stops once the lid is shut but exactly how wide is wide, just the immediate vicinity in the form of the house or did people in the nearby village suddenly rewind? Heck, for all we know, when the box opened, someone in New York or even on the International Space Station went into reverse!!
