I would love to take your beach fishing mastery course, but I'm not likely to get to visit my beloved forgotten coast again, due to new health and monetary concerns. I'm watching you, Brant, Bearded Brad, and Cameraman Ron as a substitute for getting to fish the Gulf in person. Keep up the great work and I'll keep watching!

Four horse men make an amazing popping cork. I’ve used them for 5-6 years now. They cast great, sit upright in the water, and you get a good audible “pop”. They’re a little more pricey than other ones but definitely worth the extra dollars in catching more fish.

A number of years ago I lived in Truth or Consequences, NM. I fished at Elephant Butte Lake. A gentleman in the church I pastored taught me a technique to catch catfish using a bobber. I had numerous trips where we brought home and cleaned 15 to 20 good sized catfish! I would be honored to show you that technique sometime.

Cajon Thunder is my go-to popping cork. I cut the metal rod through the middle off and replace it with some stiff 100-150 lb mono. There is a little give in the mono so when the live bait get jumpy and leader crosses over the main line it won’t snap it. The 2 haywire twists on the metal pin have sharp edges that will cut your line especially with an aggressive fish.

I love cork fishing. Yup it's the way I started, but watching a cork is a magical thing. There is a certain kind of thrill you get when you see your bait get excited, maybe coming to the top and getting smashed, and then you see the cork go under. Very special.

I'm so glad you finally posted a video using 7ft rods and lighter line , Carolina rig for fun fishing....this is my favorite way to fish, yeah I do the anchor weight 2 drop as well.... but sometimes, the Carolina, with fresh shrimp, is the only rod that gets bites, in my opinion, the best way for beginners, and all fisherman...., great job
