I've only rewatched this show 1-2 times and they were a long time ago. But the thing that sticks with me the most beside the music is the colors of the scenes in this show
This song reminds me of a mirror but for your ears. It can seem incredibly sad and lonely or it can sound playful or like a child's laughter. Perhaps even optimistic.

Sometimes I have to look away because like you said, I know I'll never have it again..
Though death and time takes many people from us, there is still something inside that will not let us forget to cherish those precious memories and keep them locked up safe, I'm sure...
I feel like I want to be strong and not need anyone, but sometimes, dammit, it would be nice to have the comfort of such unconditional love again, at least to embrace me as I'm gluing my broken pieces back together and trying my hardest not to crumble apart.

How nice is that, zankyou is a great first anime to watch. It's also memorable for me, watched it back in 2014 when I was just also 14. Carefree days, how I miss watching it and just eating instant ramen in my room.
