Very haunting brilliance, Lamm has been waiting to get this out of his system for years, so happy they put this out
The whole album is a diamond in the rough compared today’s music! Robert sounds amazing!
Nothing rough about it. It"s a diamond.
This Chicago album made me be patient & LISTEN -- just like the very first time I ever listened to Chicago as a youth. Thanks, Chicago, for not only producing good songs but requiring me & millions of others to hear music that has staying power. There is only ONE Chicago, for sure.
I have loved Chicago since my teens. I'm a brass player and thought brass in a rock band was fabulous. This song... it is pure poetry, beauty, love, and so much more. Thank you, Robert Lamm, and all of Chicago that keeps this fabulous music going. Robert, Jimmy, Lee... you are all treasures and gifted
musicians.
This album has grown on me, MAN IS IT GREAT!
Our household too!!! Just started listening and playing it over & over
Can't stop playing it. Got all their albums. This is one of my favourites
im liking the softness. robert's voice makes this song a winner.
The more I listen to the songs on this album, the more I enjoy them. I wish my mom was here to listen to these songs (she passed away in March 2020 and was a huge fan of Chicago (the years Peter was with the band, mostly)). I am sure that Mom would have enjoyed these songs.
I'm positive she would have...
Sorry to hear that Laurie. She definitely would
@@paulmiller3885 - Thank you, Paul; appreciate your message. These songs do trigger good memories of my mom and how much ofba music lover she was. My two older brothers and I got her love of music. 🙂
you think she would have liked Jason Scheff?? I'm a Chicago fan since 1968 and loved Peter but the minute I heard and saw Jason Scheff, I was in awe ..
@@Waimeafalls - to answer your question, my mom was (as I am) diehard fans of Peter. That didn't give much room for being a fam of any other tenor singer in that group. Mom did think that Neil sounded good and I have come to enjoy Neil myself. However, no one is quite like Peter in our book.
My favorite song on this Album. ❤️
Sensuous and gorgeous. Such musicianship here.
I've never heard this song before. I love it's theme development. It is an expression of living life; it's not "too" sad either.
I am hooked on these new songs! Awesome work, fellows!
Chicago the band is so criminally underrated and unknown and misunderstood
I love this album so much. Such incredible song writing and musicality. Just can't say enough. Thank you Chicago for one more great one.
A future James Bond theme. FTL has a very flamenco/European vibe. Almost something as cool as SCORPIONS would perform in a cathedral. Very similar vibes. Well done Gaitsch and RL. ❤😂🎉
Lamm songs are still good ! And a violin solo !
Gracias Chicago por tan grandiosa música. Saludos desde Bogotá!!!
Beautiful! Simply beautiful!
Absolutely love this song!!
I had the immense pleasure of getting my dad back into listening to Chicago, we used to listen together constantly when I was younger, those are some of my greatest memories. Always Lovin' Chicago. 🌹
Awesome! Good job gays! Violin of Dessy Kondova is sublime, in total harmony! U make me happy! LOVE from Republic of San Marino!
Europamuziek !!! Met groeten uit België en Vlaanderen !!!
I Have every Album.. have seen them many times... each incarnation... Was a devotee of Jimmy P (I was a trombone player in 4th grade ) know all his solos by heart... My childhood band ....They were my intro into music and the gift that it has been in my life.... Thanks for the tune Mr.Chops. You sound awesome! Fine wine brothers Fine wine...
❤ Beautiful!
Very beautiful song!
That's a Keeper!
I like this one! 💜
Go, Robert! Sounding awesome.
I've listened to the album twice now and this is, far and away, my favorite track. The production of the song is excellent, and I love how it goes in so many different directions musically, sonically. Robert's voice has barely changed, he is still one of my favorite male voices in rock and does not disappoint here! Haven't found the track credits online yet (awaiting arrival of my CD!) but I assume this was co-written by Robert with Jim Peterik and they did a superb job. I would even say that this should be the next single - I think it would do quite well on the Adult Contemporary chart ... at the very least! This is one you can listen to again and again.

@@bfooteprints Thanks. The CD did arrive yesterday and so I got all the credits, but really appreciate your taking the effort to add them here. I can't believe there is no female backing vocalist! Kudos to who I assume is Neil singing those high tenor parts.
And apologies (and kudos!) to Bruce Gaitsch, who is the co-writer on this track, not the aforementioned Peterik.
All of you folks are truly the Best of our generation. And this latest album Is One Of The Greatest.
You own me. You have ever since,

Sweet love song
Lilting, jazzy and uplifting....gorgeous song.
At last , I had this good old Chicago feel again. We often talked about how we missed Kath and Cetera, thank God we never had to miss Robert Lamm.
He is the soul of Chicago. That song should have ended the album.
The violin at the background makes it more perfect.
Beautiful song!!
Robert lamm : su voz está intacta, gran compositor , muy buena letra. Grande Chicago!!! Continuamente renovándose!!! A pesar de los años!! , fusión de violines y música clásica, en esta canción!!!
STRATOSFERIC SONG !!!
Blown away .. Favorite 👌
Amazing chord changes.
Please let this be the next single. This song is fantastic!

Just got home from the concert in Lawton, Oklahoma! As usual, great performance! I would have been perfectly content to have heard this album in its entirety, but I understand that most audience members are there to hear the hits. I simply LOVE this album!
