Yes it is. It all depends on the questions ask by the Boarder officer and your answer. Ensure your relative is aware of your visit.

Close work permit biometric 14dec medical update 14 April when I get ppr
The gaping loophole is not the Work permit, but it's the abuse of it and ppl coming into the country as temp students, knowing they can apply for a work permit, instead of applying from their initial state/country. This means most temporary students are rather economic migrants and lied their way into the country and refuse to go back home after graduation of their bogus courses. Other countries have foreign student programs as well, with a condition of those students returning home after graduation, which is not he case in Canada. There should be absolutely no option for Work permit issued to a foreign student. The skills Canada needs is not in India! Agencies working together with I.C are lying to young ppl in India and giving them false hope for a better life in Canada, while the Cdn Government is making everything legal. It's a recipe for a demographic disaster. Thanks F.s

The close job permit is what UAE are using , for someone coming to Canada from Dubai is not going to be a challenges to them .

A closed work permit is just like bondage.. So I agree with the Canadian government especially if the individual is a disciplined worker.. Not only that, there could be another available job that would be more beneficial to the employee as well as that job could benefit massively from that worker's service.. So there are so many faults to this specific system.. Merci beaucoup!!

Canada is so big in geographical area with very little population ...More than 70 or 80% of the country is very sparsely or unpopulated... so what is wrong if Indians want to live and work there and make canada their home.. pls be open minded ...and empathetic towards people. .. all are human beings ..we must be good to each other
