As someone who battles daily with the decision to end my life or keep on going, you’ve given me pause to think and to laugh even when I didn’t have much to laugh about. I'm working on this portfolio, which I do when taking care of my grandkids...start living right now...its truly all we have...is right now...they say life is what happens while you are making plans...I think life is what happens when you aren't paying attention. .live in the moment, find enjoyment in the little thongs...I find alot of enjoyment from Pam's videos, laughter and a spark of wanting to create. ..
I just found this community and this amazing woman who never fails to make me laugh. It's an awakening and yes, a lifeline also. How cool is that ? Someone who touches so many and maybe doesn't realize how much. Now, I will make one for my mom with things from her life to teach her that being sentimental has a place in life. She's 90 years old has reached an age of acceptance finally. Copies of her birth registration, depression rationing coupons that I rescued from the trash when her mom died, greeting cards also rescued, her report cards from school, copies of family photos from the same trash can. A tale of her life. Thank YOU for teaching this.

I really love the concept of junk journals. I’m an artisan collagist, but I fell into the junk journal community and fell in love! I have so much vintage paper that I never knew what to do with. Thanks for your amazing ideas, as usual Pam!

I love this and I most definitely have 12 x 12 papers I need to use up. I’ve been having such a blast trying everything you teach us. I finally got out to a used book store near me this week and I found a bunch of old books from the 1930’s and 1940’s for $5 each. There was even a gigantic vintage dictionary with a nature section that had amazing illustrations for $5. I think you’d love this place.
I KNOW I would enjoy this...for me anything resembling a used book store is over 50 miles drive...I miss seeing used book stores around my area...the big C caused so many stores of this type to close....

You Could actually just give one of these as a gift. If You have a few made up, & need a quick gift.. stick one of those long narrow "shopping lists" pads in (OR.. a Homemade one from "Recycled " paper.)... several folded pages of random stationary paper, some long envelopes, stickers... etc. wrapped closed by some scrap ribbon or lace. 😊
These are great to add to journals but also make great happy mail or small gift! Your videos are always such fun. And no one can resist that cute, cuddly and sleepy Sunbun! Hugs🥰
Love this, Pam. Thanks. I have always loved pushing papers..office work 45 years. Love to read a paper or hard bound book. Love books in our home. Still have a huge tub of children's books. I never see a child reading a book. Always see an electronic device in their hands. Sad.
A really good way to try out ideas as well as a go-with for journals, or just a fun thing to pop in happy-mail. Thankyou Pam, got one or two 12x12 papers would be ideal for this, might try with 8x8 too for a cutesie smaller version with just a tri fold should work! Oh dear idea overload now, where's my coffee? My grandchildren are little, but they both love paper like I did. I still love paper. I like that you said there's an innocence in playing with paper. I just know for certain that it's one of the most therapeutic things I've ever done. For me, it's right up there with cooking.

Another great idea! Thank you. I laughed at sonny because we have two yorkies and one of them lays on the back (behind us)of chairs or the sofa. It has to be neck height or he will lay on your neck. The other one is normal 😂 and sits on my lap.
My dog Baroo will not let me sleep in…4:30 am and I am up…..you make my mornings with your amazing crafting techniques! I love the spine from an old book! I have an old book with a beautiful spine but it’s in bad shape but I can do your technique and save it! So excited to get some of these done! Thanks as always Pam! 📕📕📕
thank you so much! i awoke in a funk with an entire day available to make art and didn't feel like it at all. your video turned everything around for me. I have tons of 12 x 12 from when I bought out someone's scrapbooking stash to use in my collisions (collages). Wasn't sure what to do, as most of the colors don't fit the palettes I like to work in. Now the color won't matter 🤩 I have some watercolor pigment that's packaged on leaves of paper (not sure what it's called but you can lift the color from the paper like you do from a pan block) so instead of a pen, I'll add a brush, tuck small pieces of blank watercolor paper in the pockets, along with the watercolor sleeves. PS - that New Orleans scene looks like Pirate's Alley.
