Great honest review fella, I use the firebox stove and it's excellent comes with a few more attachments than the bush box, wished I had got it in titanium as like the bush box stainless steel comes in a nearly at 1kg. Loved the breakfast needed a nice runny fried egg on top for me 👍😁

Good explanation and use of the stoves. The best for myself is the Folding Firebox Nano Gen 2 in titanium. Along with the X stand for it to sit on and even as a case for it. All of it fits inside a stuff sack to keep everything clean. I like the fact it's a nice size for a solo hiker , will take triple fuel ( Alcohol burner , Wood or fuel tabs ). Best of all it will take long sticks as well as short ones. The beauty of it is the assortment of different stoves on the market for campers to choose from.

Do you use the LF more because it is a “just in case” type thing? i.e. in case you can’t have a fire or just because you need a quick exit in the morning and don’t wish to leave a fire pit to extinguish.
That’s my thinking anyway, so for what “we” mainly do, I can see why sir.

This is an expensive option. The slot together wood burner you showed is fiddly for sure, but not by much. Those stoves lend themselves to the stainless steel versions rather than titanium for sturdiness. I like to cook using a Trangia fuel burner and find the Lixada type stoves (as in your review, but many other brands available) are better. The burner fits in the stove, is well insulated and still allows the cross bars for resting pots large and small unto. It comes down to price. Around £20 for the slot together stoves to Bushbox prices three times at least more expensive. I remain to be convinced, while admiring the design.

I feel you were a bit mean to non hinged boxes here Andy! They're not that difficult to put together, Even the non rip offs cost much less and have many pros over the bush box. The titanium wildcamping int one if fantastic and you can double it up to make two which is great for more space and heat. The honey stove is another good example. Overall i agree they're more superior but at least compare with a good one! ??

Don't generally value adverts, HOWEVER, I actually enjoyed listening/watching your review. I must be really nuts, praising a review, but ACTUALLY. Might actually go buy one. Regards!
Oh by the way, I'm from New Jersey USA, and I really hate, and find it very difficult to understand and put up with your damn accent, But you can't do anything about that, but you got a pass. THNX.
