I think the pain point is the pension n benefits she is getting as wife is the legal nominee after marraige unless defined otherwise. As the marraige only lasted 5 months,it could be painful that they dont get anything legally. The loss is however too painful for both of them. Shaming daughter in law could be pressure tactic to get the benefits by putting media n society pressure.
