Yeah, the Evading is annoying to pull off. They could have made it just the Left joystick being pressed then moved in a certain direction.

That would be easier to pull off. The way it is now, the timing for the button press and stick tilt is way too tight to be reliable in combat. It's easier to just run or boost out of the way of things.
