Wow I needed this ! I'm playing Leagues IV and the drop rate is increased plus you have the last recall item so you can save your location to the barrows chest. I'm hunting Ahrim. Runs are so quick ! Teleport to Barrows, kill Ahrim, last recall to chest, rinse repeat
I did some maths of my own and found something interesting. If you only look at how many items per hour you get, in relation to how many brothers you kill, and how many armour sets you have already completed, then it turns out you should always be killing 6 brothers up until the point where you have finished 5 armour sets. From that point on it's faster to camp the last brother. The amount of items per hour from incomplete armour sets stays highest when killing all 6 brothers even when you've already completed 4 sets. (Oddly enough at 4 sets completed, the second fastest method to complete the rest is by killing the 2 remaining brothers, or 5 brothers) This does not take into account duplicates within incomplete armour sets, however.

I was able to follow you, I had a hard time in school, my mind would wander and I’d get spaced and confused between each added edition to a problem, the way you had it on screen and the way you explained it, very well done, people in comments are spot on, you need more subs, and this was very well done, I’m trying to get my arhims skirt btw. I have over 5 of every frigin item🤣 but not my f skirt, it’s maddening.

This is basically the exact same strategy folks used to use back in 2005 with newer items added. So much like Speedrunning the optimal path is already set, the improvement in times came down to small optimizations like the new lockpick, and much better gear. Figured that like 18 years later there would be something else but guess not. Eitherway thanks for checking this out for the newer gen of players.
Correct me if I'm wrong and misunderstood but if all I want is a Karil's Top, should I should just kill karil and rush chamber? It's the only item I want and don't want any other barrows items.
In short, start at Karil's Tome, if Karil is the chamber, rush it, but if Karil isn't, you can either kill brothers until you find the chamber or do all 6 brothers. That part is up to you. Because of the multiplier from killing another brother it makes it tricky. so a little of both is the anwser. Without knowing all the detail about you account. If I were you I would rush Karil, if the chamber is karil, and on all the rest kill all 6 brothers. lemme know if that helped.

In my head though I was thinking that there doesn't seem to be a downside to killing Karil and rushing the chamber every single time. 5-6hrs per Karil item on average at the rate I was going, so 20-25hrs for KTop on average. Though after thinking about it, killing more brothers if karil isn't in the chamber gives me more "chances to be lucky". So many variables to take into consideration so I might just end up doing whatever is a little less boring.

The creatures and percentage only effect your non barrows item loot. So runes, money, etc. Pieces from the brothers are only effected by the brothers killed. IMO unless you are an iron, skipping the creatures isn't the worst decision. Yeah Barrows can be like that, sometimes it rains and other times its dry as a desert.
i am 3316 still need torag body did 3020 kils 6 brothers evry item almost 10+ i have this since 1247 kc so ye verry dry pissing me of did now 300 kils torag only got 1 torag helm pfff

Nice video. At 810 kc i was just missing 1 item. Now at 2400 i'm still missing that item. Going to stick with just killing that 1 brother now.

I always thought it was 102/6 as there are 6 brothers for a 1/17 chance if you kill all brothers.

ive done 64 barrows runs that should have had a 1/15 chance and I have no pieces.
