On 2nd thought i think the Revision indicator for Elpida chips is actually the 2nd letter not the 1st so this should be Elpida 4Gb Rev.A not Rev.B

I once repaired an 8gb 580 with hynix. I tried for a long time to break past 1500mhz but eventually jammed it into the media PC in the living room.

i used the same setup for a 1650 super . those cheap water blocks from overseas make great in a pinch or daily. Cant wait to see the eventual monster it becomes. Fingers crossed.

my XFX 580 stock clocks is 1380 on the core and 2000 on the memory
wondering if I try this if I can reach close to 1500
I believe over 1500 you start nearing a 590
Edit: gave this a shot at 1480/2100 and got 18,000 basically on the graphics in firestrike (17,969)
