From what I can gather and assume, someone broke into the house and the father tried killing the intruder while the mom hid Marcus in the closet and did her best to protect him. Jeez I didn’t like her either but Davis is right, she didn’t deserve that, neither of them did. I hope Marcus stays safe, he doesn’t deserve any of this.
To add humor and make this environment less sad, imagine Marcus sees Kat with her family while he’s with Davis.
Marcus: Daddy, isn’t that Ms. Kat, your girlfriend?
Kat’s family: EXCUSE ME?!

True but they didn't deserve what they got maybe a court battle for custody but not to get killed that was a big plot twist for me

@@DrageLee he’s not afraid of death per say since he’s quite literally immune to death (or at least non-natural deaths) but he is afraid of the pain that comes with it. Although he’s probably used to being gunned dead🤷🏻♀️
