What a voice! Not that Daryl Hall's voice isn't amazing but Jimmy's version definitely pays an appropriate homage to Mr. Hall. Love Jimmy's wail starting at 2:55. The song is simply incredible.

This guy has a remarkable personal story. He was homeless at one time. Amazing how God can open all the doors so that a man like this can use his talents to get ahead. He is really blessed in so many ways.
His mom and step dad also kicked him out of a car in Pensacola Florida when he was like 10 I think and he is from gastonia north Carolina!! He has been through hell and that is why his voice is so beautiful!!!
Don't say that Jimmy survived a horrific childhood one that a lot of kids don't and you ask where was God? He was right next to him quietly guiding him. You may not think he did but Jimmy is the first one to tell you that and every show my friend and I went to he said that. He's here and he's alive and he's helping other foster kids that were just like him.He's an advocate out there for all those kids out there that are growing up in the same conditions that he did only he is giving them a voice something that he himself didn't have growing up because too many adults looked at him and automatically dismissed him as being a trouble maker when all he ever wanted was someone to be there for him and love him. Jimmy is a very special young man.
This is an amazing performance of one of the most beautiful songs ever written. You have done some truly great work here. Your voice is so soulful and emotional. As a 59 year old man who was there when Hall and Oates first released this song (and fell completely in love with its hypnoticly smooth, enticing melody), I am in awe of you for not only doing justice to this remake, but giving it a newness that I never thought could happen. I agree totally. Apart from some people who complained about him putting his hand up to his ear. They very likely don't know anything about how singers tune their voices when there is a lot of background music especially. The guy on the fiddle is a real maestro. He apparently plays more than a dozen instruments.

Amen Sister. I am NOT a country fan (not that there's anything wrong with that), but I find Jimmy Wayne hot as hell and he is SO perfect in this song it often brings me to tears. Plus, The only thing anywhere even CLOSE to country about this song is the banjo and steel guitar. Amen Sister. I am NOT a country fan (not that there's anything wrong with that), but I find Jimmy Wayne hot as hell and he is SO perfect in this song it often brings me to tears. Plus, The only thing anywhere even CLOSE to country about this song is the banjo and steel guitar.
As much as I love the original and although Jimmy's and Daryl's voices are SO similar, I find Jimmy's version sexier. Can I get an amen? ~LOL~

Just saw Jimmy Wayne on LFDH. Daryl Hall said that Jimmy Wayne was the only person who sang "Sara Smile' it like it was meant to be. Jimmy Wayne is not only a good musican he is a warm person with a strong personality. He is so good and I am sure he will go far in life. He is on my HUNK list.
