  • Welcome to our 1978 Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 barn find. The Jag was stored in a garage not far from us, only a couple of miles away, since 1999, 24 years ago, when it was taken off the road for maintenance by it’s previous owner.
In this episode we begin the job of cleaning the whole car after sitting for 24 year and it is filthy.
The challenge we have set ourselves in this Jaguar barn find series, is to revive the Jag and to get the car back on the road again.
So let’s crack on, We hope you enjoy the episode
    Huge thank you for watching.

46 years old. The build quality of the 1970s wasn't that bad. Despite what they'd have us believe. Great car.

I nearly scared the missus to death when I shouted 'Noooooo' when that brush came.out just after 4 mins!! Those brushes terrify me on cars, I use them on the trucks!! Invest in some good old sponges. Not bothered about those microfiber mits.....
