Babies face off at annual sumo festival

- About 100 babies took part in an annual sumo festival, competing to see which baby will cry first. Sumo wrestlers rocked babies and organizers wore colourful masks of foxes and demons in an attempt to make babies cry in Tokyo’s Sensoji Temple.
The traditional “Crying Sumo” event started in 1991 to wish for the health and well being of children.

No 😂, it's called 泣き相撲 (crying sumo). As you can see, there are two babies facing each other, and the one who cries more wins the match. These traditional events are usually held to pray for their health and growth
