Hello guys, today we will make Sugar Wax! 3 ingredients only! Sugar - Lemon - Water. Beauty hack! It's not liquid wax.
You can use it with strips or without strips (if you wait a lil bit longer you'll get hard sugar) . You can REUSE the same strips for 4 times (like i did in this video) -- ( UPDATE: 10 April 2016, only REUSE it once, even better only USE it once! ) It depends on how dry and full the rip off hair on the sugar on strip.
Okay, this is the first time i expose my lower legs to whole world. It is so hairy. If you are my friends this must be not a new thing :p
I don't like and understand why it has long curly hair. I miss wearing my skirt. I am tired wearing my tight jeans everytime i go out.
IT'S TIME TO RIP THEM OFF. THIS SUGARING WAX WORKS LIKE MAGIC! It's my first time.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

🍚 1 cup of sugar ~ 200 gr = 7 FULL ⛰️ tbsp
🍋 1/4 cup of lemon juice / lime / calamansi / cider Apple vinegar ~ 60 ml = 6 tbsp (i squeezed 1 lemon to get this exact quantity. It depends on the size of the lemon)
💧 1/4 cup of water ~ 60 ml = 6 tbsp

💠Stove
💠Pot
💠Spoon
💠Popsicle Stick
💠Jar (glass)
💠Fabric Sheet (I used old cotton t-shirt) OPTIONAL
💠Baby powder (before applying sugar)
💠Baby oil (after waxing)

📝 NOTE!

🔔Make sure the measurement is right
🔔Don't skip the lemon juice. The acid is there to resist it solidifying. If you only use sugar and water, it will turn out to be back as SUGAR! (my experience)
🔔Keep stirring it for the next 8 minutes after the first heavy bubbles appear until the color changed. It should be dark brownish not yellow. Just keep stirring it for the next 8 minutes on MEDIUM HEAT only!
🔔Wash your pot after pouring the wax into jar. Put some hot water if you want to pend to wash it. Make sure every spot inside pot get touched by hot water. Prevent the wax get hardened in pot. Use warm water to wash it.
🔔 IT WILL BE HARD AS CANDY! So use it before hard and safe enough for your skin to not get burned.
🔔 Put the mixture in jar like in this video so next time you can re-heat the leftovers or unused sugar using microwave for the next sugaring or soak in hot water.
🔔 IT IS NOT PERMANENT. It's temporary. It needs about 6-7 weeks to grow.

i think the reason for that is because for this person, it was her first time while other girls may have waxed for a long time before ever making a video. The more you wax, the thinner your hair grows back.

Tip: to prevent ingrown hairs apply the wax from the opp. direction and then rip off that piece of shmit the same way ur hair grows:)

If you have no baby powder it's okay, just make sure your skin is not damp nor wet before applying the sugar wax.
If you have no baby oil, it's alright too, use clean and cool water to cleanse and soothe the skin after waxing. :)

-one cup of white sugar
-one quarter cup of lemon juice
-one quarter cup of water
-leave them in a stove with medium heat for 8 minutes
-put them in a jar
-make sure it’s cool off before you use (wait for about half an hour or until it warm so it won’t burn your skin) don’t leave them so long or else it’ll be as hard as candy

Yes 😊.. a correction: use it when it's WARM only, not hot or not cool. Cool = hard. Hot = burning your skin.

I did this last night and it works! but for the lemon, i use lime because i ran out of lemon but i only have 1 lime so 1 mix with vinegar and lime to make it 1/4 cup lol. is smell a bit but it still work!

Hope this help for everyone who failed at their try. If 8 minutes too long for you, and the color become too dark, try to cook it under 8 minute. From my experience, i just keep an eye at my wax, i don't pick it up if it still yellow and i don't overcook it until it get dark brown. You should take your wax from the stove if it have that 'amber' colour, regardless how long you cook it.
*I stir it gradually just to see the color since its so bubbly.

It really works on meee. The point is I took more time to cooked the sugar wax till 10-15 mins after bubbled, till it became brown. And voilaaaa it’s really perfect and satisfied with the result! I've heard that, when using the sugaring technique, it's actually supposed to be applied in the OPPOSITE direction as hair growth, and ripped off in the SAME direction as growth--- as opposed to what is usually done for 'typical' waxing. just fyi . . . to help prevent ingrown hairs & such.

Sugaring mixture is to be applied OPPOSITE of hair growth then remove or pull in the direction of hair growth. The way it is explained here is for waxing not sugaring and may cause ingrown hairs. Do your research. Good video and bravery though lol.👍

I tried this today and it went great! The first time it was still a liquid but then I heated it back up until it was boiling for 8 minutes and let it cool. Then I did a test and it worked great! But watch out because I didn't wait long enough and got a little burned! I also used apple cider vinegar instead of lemon juice and it went great! Though a little smelly!

I’ve tried this and it works! I also doubled the recipe because that way if I run out I won’t have to make more when I do need it. I didn’t have a Jar so I used an old tall glass cup and poured in my mixture once it was golden brownish. I let it cool down of an hour. When i wanted it to be a little bit warmer all i did was place it into a glass measuring cup and added hot water to the measuring cup so it’ll help loosen it a little.. I did it 2-3 times and I like this way better because I can control the temperature rather microwave it and have to wait until it cools. I also used it on intimate areas and it works sooo well and doesn’t hurt at all!... thank you! Oh! And Iunno if this helps but I added a dash of honey once I poured it into the tall glass cup... Iunno why but I felt like it help some way some how... but hope that helps

Thanksss a lot Hera!!! It finally worked for me! I had one more epic fail as puttin it 15mins on medium flame made my Wax super thick n stoned... so what worked for me was puttin in on medium flame until it starts boilin heavily... then slow it down (lowest flame) n stirring until it becomes the golden shinny color... keep stirring in slow flame until the wax its brownish... N I could successfully do my face wax.. (upper lip & chin) it removed my 80% hair leavin few small hair that I had to remove with some thread and plucker... The long hair gets removed so easily! Thanks a lot!!!👏👏👏👏

Maybe you guys can help me to understand what I did wrong. I measured the ingredients and boiled the stuff for 16 minutes, it became dark brown, I put it in a jar, but then: I let it cool down until it was sort of ok to put on skin but, by that time, it had already come so hard that it didn't stick to the skin anymore. I could sort of mold it still (and it was still burning my fingers) it was absolutely too hard to put on the skin. What did I do wrong? Boil it too much and too strong? Maybe I didn't have enough lemon juice (it was just about 50-60ml), or maybe something else?

Noooo! When we use sugar wax as a wax, we should always apply it in a opposite direction of hairs and pull it in a same direction of the hairs, doing this we won't get any bumbs or ingrown hairs on skin when the hairs come back!!.. overall your video is awesome!!

Its just because we use sugaring on a same area over and over again , cs mostly it leaves some hairs in a first attempt, so sugaring experts explains the typical way to use it😃😀

I did the "let it cool for 30minutes" just to make sure my mixture was not liquid anymore and started to get hard after it was NOT SO HOT.
I actually wait for 2 hours but it stayed liquid --means it failed.
That's why i re-cooked it.
But when you are ready to apply it on skin, make sure the sugar is still warm NOT hot (it will burn skin) and NOT cool ( cool = it's getting hard and you can't scoop it by stick )

Tip- hair should be between 1/4" and max 1/2". Use a trimmer to take down excess length. The longer the hair is the harder it pulls and hurts!

Hi! I tried cooking mine for 8 min in medium heat but I think It ended up overcooked cuz it has this dark brown color aaand after 1 hour of cooling down, my spoon was stuck in the jar and the wax just kept cracking.😁😁

It works. Took me 15-20 minutes to finally get the dark colour. But damn it hurts. It hurts to the point that I cant continue waxing my arm. Now its half hairless and half full of hairs. Lololol. But overall, it definitely works. ✔️

I've just did it, and im completely in love with the result 😍😍 it did remove all my hair, I wish I knew this wax sooner 😂😂 btw, I do recommend reheat the wax by putting the recipent into a bowl of hot water before using, so it wouldn't get too "solid" and sticky. I tried to make this and I'm surprised that it works well, VERY.WELL. even BETTER than the sugar wax I bought, compared to the store-bought wax this made waxing for me faster but I recommend those to trim their hair b4 doing so to avoid the pain and bleeding 🤣

If it’s hard put in in the microwave for 30 seconds . Add 2 tablespoons of water and stir . Put in again in the microwave and stir it again . Repeat if it’s not like a bit loose honey consistency . Let it cool check whether it became okay. If it’s too loose cook it again and if it’s still hard put more water and microwave it again
It's great to see that someone can actually show their hair, however you are doing the procedure wrong. You should apply the product in the opposite direction of your hair growth and rip it off in the same as your hair's, bc otherwise you'll have ingrown hair

I've watched/tried a few other recipes from other videos that were unsuccessful or I ended up burning myself. This one however worked the best!! The consistency was perfect and waiting 30 mins for the mixture to "cool" was the perfect temperature. Thank you so much!!! Btw I waxed my underarms with a strip and I applied the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth.

If it's hard after cooling, that's okay, you can always reheat it later then it's going to melt again. It's on sugar wax #2 video.

why why why every I repeat every time I try to do this freaking sugar wax no matter the recipe I follow I always get a brown non - see through slightly bubbly paste that when it's a bit gluey it's still extremely hot and when I take it out it's as hard as a rock??!
