The complete and sudden cold open really captures the confusion of the total destruction of the English navy. Like, just as you figure out, "Okay, playing as Nevers, about 60 years into the game, in a war fighting the Danes alongside England, alright all caught up", you get blind-sided with "How the fuck did they-?" off-camera.

It's pronounced Dough-feen if spelled with the E on the end, or Dough-fan, with a very soft n, almost more like an r, if spelled Dauphin.
