    My relative got retired with age 60 and got around 40 Lakh as corpus and getting the government pension monthly around 30k.Where we should we invest the money ? We don’t want want to invest full money in Payout option like SSCC, RBI bonds,and want to invest in instrument so that money grow with compounding.

    How about investing in Balanced Funds ,in MF.Which fund houses are better to invest to get a regular income.

      Its good to invest in Balanced Funds though each Mutual fund come with risk albeit different for each type.
      But by simply investing in a fund, you won't get the income. You will have to plan for systematic withdrawal as well. Will try to cover it in one of the future videos.

      It is not ATC, it is deduction under Section 80C of Income Tax Act. Maximum 1.50 lakh worth of deduction is available from the Gross Taxable Income, for investing in the specified investments like NSC and PPF

      EPF is something that comes specifically for people with Jobs. You cannot invest seperately is why I did not cover.

    For 80C deduction , PPF is best . Then comes Bank FD which now give Intt. up to 7. 75 percent . GOI Floating rate bonds . All these 100 percent safe .
    Sov . Gold Bonds , Debt Mutial funds .Equity mutual funds . Risk 50:50 . If done with research , then risk goes down .

      Post office is for retired people or pensioners as they have enough time to visit there for every small work,, so not much if use for younger people as nothing can be done online or intercity

    Pnb very good fd 6.6 for senior citizen @ 405 days and if u are pnb employees then 7.75 for 5 years and 6.75 for senior citizens no tax

    Sir please review Shriram Transport Finance Company. They are offering inflation beating FD returns. But the FDs are not insured under DICGC. I would love to hear your views on this FD.

      Before choosing any investment, please agree with your risk appetite and investment horizon.
      High Risks can give Higher Returns as well as Loss.
      Typically, anyone young (25- 35) should keep aggressive portfolio and reduce equity exposure as you age further.
      Personally, I believe to keep higher equity if your retirement is 15-20 years away as this gives advantage of taking benefit of equity investment.

    I have one query. I had invested 75000 in KVP (post office).For this scheme, maturity amount will be the double of invested amount. How much tax will be deducted from the return (interest earned) ?
    On internet it is given that TDS of 10% is deducted from interest. Please provide your helpful insights. Please resolve my query.

    If you are falling under 20% tax bracket, better invest in ultra short term funds, liquid funds or money market funds. It will give you tax efficient returns if held for more than 3 years

      @@EveryPaisaMatters Sir risk ki baat nhi ha, state Bank of Mauritius is highly active in India and also FD is secured under Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC) government of India.

      Well it does not, but if your gains are less than 1 lakh in all Equity related instruments, then its exempted (as per Income Tax Laws)
