This is the videorecording of Massimo Pigliucci's session at Stoicon 2021, which consisted of a presentation, followed by questions and answers
Modern Stoicism is a non-profit limited company, registered in the UK, run by a multidisciplinary team of volunteers. Its aims are to research and publish information on the application of Stoic philosophy to modern living for the benefit of the general public.
Each year, in conjunction with Stoic Week, we also organize an annual event, Stoicon, enabling people following Stoic Week to meet face-to-face and share their experiences. We also encourage others to organize their own local Stoicon-x events.
Stoicon 2021 was planned and organized this year by Greg Sadler and Andi Sciacca, with Greg Sadler MCing the event. Phil Yanov was the technical co-host, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Harald Kavli was the Lightning Talks organizer.
