      Full range of finger joined profiles not available locally, it would be like comparing apples and oranges. 10/10 would use again. Replaced all trim on 1st floor of modern colonial for less than 5k. Not standard install with some highly custom application.

    I'm loving this whole project. I pass by the site regularly on my way to certain clients and I parked on one of the side streets a few weeks ago, so I could have a better look. As I was admiring the front and getting a nice in-person look at the front elevation, Mike happen to be walking by on the sidewalk and we engaged in a short but friendly conversation. I will say to you what I said to him. You should be very proud of this project, it is amazing work you and your team have done, and it will add a tremendous amount of beauty and value to the community in which it has been built.

    I think the mirror behind the door is a wonderful idea. I am trying to think of a way to include that in an upcoming bathroom remodel.
    You won't have yourself looking back at you unless you want to. Brilliant!

    Would be nice if in a future episode you went into detail about painting; what brand you use, how many coats, sprayed/brushed, what primer...etc. great work as always.

    Love the channel and how it goes into details of carpentry. I think workmanship of it is never shown like the way you explain it. A lot of small details are express on this channel and that’s a plus!

    The best choice for water control in any room is a strategically placed floor drain. I use ceramic tile baseboards in wet ares.

    Great video. About to start trimming out a house which requires a stool to be attached to jamb extensions. The supplier advised me to attach the stool to the extension by dropping the stool down 1/8” and then just nailing the stool to the extension. Said this would prevent cracking along the line if I attached the stool flush with the top of the extension. Thoughts?

    What adhesive are you using on the window trim miters? It looks "thick" and was wondering what the setup time is with the clam clamps. I've used Infinity PUR for a quick setup, the the clams and traditional glue when needed.

    A bit surprising that in a house that big the two bedrooms don't have en suite bathrooms. Maybe it's smaller than it looks? The millwork is awesome.

    Shrinking in the winter? I assumed it was summer with heat and moisture loss? Love the amount of detail you guys go to on your jobs 👍

      Winters are dry in New England and Summer's can get quite humid. Wood shrinks in the Winter and expands in summer.

      Personally I think it's brilliant. Seeing your full reflection in the mirror from the bathroom doorway or while otherwise using the restroom would be jarring. At the same time, it's really nice to have a full length mirror. This gives the best of both worlds.

    That's some good quality work. Hopefully your carpenters are getting paid good because most people don't take that much time to do all that work and won't achieve those high results simply because they would spend way too much time.
