Old school trackdays - ride to the track, whizz round for the day and then ride home 👍🏻😎
Typical Adam; experience & enthusiasm but no hyperbole. Thanks for this content.
@@branthurley2285 thanks. Hope to do more
I had a trackday at Cadwell in the about 30 years ago on a Ducati 750. Excellent day out
Loved that. I’ve never taken my R9T on a track but super happy with its performance on the road. Great to see what it can do in the right hands. Cheers
@@marcusrichardson3472 thanks
@@Chad76Mediawhat was lap times ?
@@mociczyczki about 1.55 ish. Not bad for this type of bike
@@Chad76Media 10 sec slower than stock gsx 8 r .
@@mociczyczki yeah about that ish. More clearance is all thats needed
Very nice bike but very nice track performance skills by the pilot! Well done. Beautiful!!
Love the tank and frame combo
Dang what an awesome video. I have a 2023 Rnine T classic. Great machine, even with my more “husky” build on stock suspension. The wheelies over the mountain and scraping at speed…good stuff.
@@timmer9991 thanks
Did a couple of track days at Eastern Creek when there were a couple of R9Ts, and they did well. They were a bit slow down the straights but looked like fun elsewhere. Scraping stuff too! Good to see their owners having fun.
@@brianglendenning1632 thanks
Great video Adam track days for me are about having fun on my bike seeing what it can do on track and riding there and back 👍👍
@@61greybeard me also. Something cool about riding home after a track day
@@Chad76Media definitely especially when you go with some mates it’s always a very chilled ride home 😁👍
Saw the 9T parked up at thruxton BSB. Looked like it had been tracked, before I watched this.
Great bike
@@mathewjohnson5090 rode from North Yorkshire to BSB.
Had to subscribe, really like the engine on these BM's, had the r1200r was great fun on the road with superb drive out of the corners, used to surprise many faster bikes, acceleration up until about a ton/ ton10 was great fun oh and it was superb at the traffic light grand prix's, lol. Cheers.
Thanks for the sub!
That looked awesome fun 😂🏍️👍🏻
@@6arethevan5 it was
The fun track / road bike is a bmw R1250R ....
Great video Chad love it
@@mikefry6765 thanks
I ride to Cadwell on my Multistrada V4s.
Intermediate group but great fun, melted the tyres though. 😂
@@BIGGGESTAL top work
I'm impressed by how well this bike performed.
@@TwinPotMan yeah. Better than I thought it would
Great video Chad. Trying to decide between the R12 nineT and the Guzzi Mandello for fun weekend outings and some touring. I currently own a Livewire One I use for the city and having fun on B roads. I think I prefer the R12 but it lacks a windshield for motorways and may be more tiring at 60mph plus for longer stints. What's your take?
@@tonydare7614 good question. I’ve got a touring review video going up this week
@@Chad76Media Great stuff! I'll keep an eye out. Take care!
XSR would do a nice retro day at the track
@@HaggisPower yeah agree
Hi.
Your camera is positioned too low; we can see plenty of the speedo and very little of the track.
@@tomasslabbert3437 yeah fair point
I regret selling mine 😢
Just curious why don’t you write for motorcycle news I looked forward to reading your articles
@@jameshalpin1580 thanks. I still occasionally still write for MCN. But now freelance writing for several different clients
@@Chad76Media oh right thanks for the reply
Curious what model of Continental tires were used
Conti road
@@Chad76Media I've been using the ContiAttack2 on all my sport bikes for some time. I just like the feel of the front tire and they seem to work better in the cold or wet better than something like the Supercorsas. Hot dry day the Pirellis are tough to beat but for the real world the Continentals work very well.
Had no idea you could switch the TC off on eu5 bikes
@@radiocrash yeah and on the move. Usually keep it on first two laps as tyres aren’t warm, then switch off
It done really well and it's not even a naked HP2.
@@stevecade857 just limited ground clearance
@@Chad76Media It's very satisfying though getting the best from a bike than have a bike so good it gets the best of you.
@@stevecade857 Yeah. It's an easy bike to ride relatively quickly
Bikes too small.
@@scootjockey it’s not that small
@@Chad76Media For me it is which is a shame.
Too much shredded wheat?
@@EJK1965 Not enough. I am six three and fifteen stone with gear on ,yeah perhaps i could sort the seat bars and pegs out still the bike would be too small, also getting on a bit so looking for a bike after my GSA.
